Nah its not funny a second time, and entendres wear off quickly, I already semi-regret debasing myself with that post.
But yeah, The Beatles, ace band, practically taught me music. Their songs also have a diverse range of difficulties so their great for pushing yourself whether you're a pro or just starting out.
...I feel a little bad we've dominated Klok's shiny new general discussion forum with so much music though

She messed up the lyrics, she has ugly false eyelashes, and at one point while she was dancing around, possibly lip synching (That voice is just too perfect for an over-50 woman) her boot fell down about halfway and she had to pick it up when she was out of the camera's view for a split second.
I EXPECT PERFECTION FROM MY SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOWS.

What is this Job Corps? Is it some focussed school that guarantees a placement at the end?
I don't like watching the Super Bowl because all my family does is scream at the television while ridiculous ads show up.
Plus I'm not into burly dudes tackling each other and passing a ball. Or screaming at a television set for them. Or any sports for that matter. Except Starcraft.
Haha that was funny Klok (but then google has totally eradicated any need for conversation since all they both come down to is a transfer of information).
Yeah I'm not a big sport watching guy (though I don't mind playing now and then), all I find weird is the way people support them. They talk about 'their' team as if they were a part of it and get in arguments so passionate that they, surprisingly frequently, end in violence. Also, I don't know how many guys can't remember, well, anything useful, but can keep up with the scores of every match, all the transfers, every famous goal since forever. Its crazy.

That's how it is, today's generation cares more about sports than world problems. Speaking from my experience.
To be completely honest, I'm very happy that not too many people are involved with helping out with world problems. Let them keep their heads in the games they like, because can you imagine having those people trying to solve the world's problems? We already have a bunch of filth running countries all over the world, and whilst I'd prefer nothing more than to be rid of them, I don't think that they can simply be replaced by the other side of the coin. >< Need some balance there. Can't have sports fans running the country and we need to get rid of the worthless pigs that are currently running the country (any country, by the way). Sigh...
I hate government. I hate politics. I hate war. If government and politics don't create war, intolerant religion does. =[
No matter how you look at our political systems one person is still given ultimate power over the country, sounds awful like a dictatorship to me.
You just gotta question why if someone managed to reach that level of power rather than being born into it (and I've looked at America's figureheads and seen little more than a monarchy) why they would use it for others than for themselves. Its the whole rugged individualism of capitalism (you earn it, you enjoy it). I don't doubt most of their energies are spent simply keeping themselves in power

That's all they do when they are in office; they don't represent their constituents, they take "legal bribes" and do whatever they want to keep themselves in power whilst saying they represent the people (and they'll just stick to one side of the political spectrum simply to please the people who voted them in - even if the people really don't like either side of the spectrum - they think that they were chosen by the people so whatever they do must be what the people want). The best form of government is no government... I'd rather be living free in anarchy and even have small communities run anything that needs running than to have some arrogant person way off in some "superior" location telling me how to live my life!
+15 respect to X-M-O. Think of the technology we could have invented or improved if we didn't require funding from government or other business. Hell, we could have already colonized (or at least set up some sort of facility) on the moon or something for all we know if we focused on technology and the advancement of the human race instead of throwing money into a toilet by warring foreign nations for "valuable" resources that we could have made obsolete with more cleaner or efficient ones.

It's true! All the government does is waste our hard-earned money! I don't want higher taxes for the rich, I don't want people to "pay their fair share"; I want people rich/poor/whatever to pay nothing, because it's all wasted on things that the people (who pay the damn taxes, mind you) don't want! Oh wait, but that's not all... the government decides without our permission to go into debt paying for things we don't want (debt so ridiculously high that it's greater than our GDP - not just one country I'm talking about here either). <_<
I think you guys have a crude understanding of anarchy (sorry, I'm blunt). Anarchy is literally no government whatsoever, to any degree. Its everyone looking out for number one (and does that really strike you as so much different to now. At least now we have a semi-credible law system, that prevents all the rape, theft and murder to a degree, that would occur without it. Fact. And before anyone makes any comment on the inherent good of human nature, well we wouldn't be having this discussion if that were the case). There's no community, no 'advancement', technologically or otherwise, because there's simply no organisation whatsoever, not even any educational systems (the one hope I cling to), so we become more savage with each new generation. I don't doubt some rudimentary pack mentally would eventually establish and then the best possible outcome is a repeat of what has already occurred, where the thinkers gain whatever becomes the new source of 'power' and pass it from generation to generation.
I'm not a fan of the current system, but even I won't deny that capitalism is stable.
(Btw eradication of the money system, pretty much the foundation of 'pure' socialism)

I'm making extreme random comments because of my general distaste for government. True anarchy would probably be a disaster, but I think I'm willing to be raped and shot so long as I'm free to be raped and shot. (Another random extreme comment...)
People underestimate how valuable government is. Government is good, it works fine.
Corrupt government, on the other hand, is a terrible thing. When politicians worry more about themselves more than they do the average citizen, that's the day that government becomes bad.
I wish we could be ruled by a logical robot deity. That would be for the best.
