Main Character Sprite, My first Sprite Options

So this is my first attempt at spriiting. I used a couple of reference sprites from random places so I could make sure I got certain walking animations right. Let me know what you guys think and any recommendations on what he is missing



I have to say, it took way longer for a single sprite then I had imagined. I have a new found respect for those of you who pump these things out!

Also I know this is not the place, but if anyone would be able to make a kaduki battler out of him, I am going to attempt it myself but I would like something to compare it to so I can see what I do wrong. Thanks for feedback!
