Hi, this is my first post on this forum, and I have a question about the Tankentai SBS

Is there a way to make it so you don't need the "_1", "_2" & "_3" files for the actors, but can still use them for battlers, because I'm using monsters that I want to animate like that, but I'm using actors that Kaduki hasn't made "_1", "_2" & "_3" files for. So I wanna know if I can disable that. I also tried changing the WALK_ANIME option in line 154, but even if it's on true or false, it doesn't change a thing.

I'm using v3.4e with Kaduki Battlers.

I think I understand what you are asking. You want to use monster sprites in your battle system without needing all the extra movement they have? just the sprites? I'm using Tankentai 3.4e without kaduki but I think I understand what you are looking for.

If you simply make a single monster frame, meaning all the default 3x4 that the normal monster sprite comes with and name it $Monster(or whatever just include the $) it should work as a battler or as a sprite, without all that extra work. To make the monster die normally and just leave the screen with the red flash, set your collapse to 3. i.e. <collapse: 3>, this should be the default death and should fix everything for you.

edit: Btw welcome to the forums, you should make an intro post in the introduction section so we can get to know you a bit better.

No, you see, I WANT the MONSTERS to have all the extra movement, but I don't want the ACTORS to have it. It would be extra movements for the battlers, but not for actors.
I mean...

I need this

Actor 7 does have the "_1", "_2" & "_3" files.

But I only want this

But Actor 87(the one I'm using) does not have them, therefore I can't use her for my game if I want the SBS.

I hope this makes things more clear now.

Ah I see, I apologize for misunderstanding. The version I use without Kaduki doesn't require all those extra things for the actor, so I only have to use the bottom picture you have there. This is something I'm not able to answer, sorry.

So, with the one you have, do the battlers still have their extra movements? If so, could you please post a link to the script. I would really appreciate it.

they have no extra movements, just the default that you see in the 3x4, though they still have attack animations and such, the kaduki adds the extra options.

The script is the exact same you have just without the kaduki battlers script. it's just the default tankentai 3.4e

Use an older version. I use 2.8, that accepts both Kaduki and normal chars.
