Things shouldn't be this way.

Once the world was a happy place. People lived in peace with each other, even if it wasn't perfectly harmonious.

It shouldn't be so cold...

Even if things weren't as perfect as they could be, everyone was still smiling.

There should be some warmth left...

But then people found the light...

It's so dark...

It was perfect in it's splendor, perfect in it's divinity and...

Why are my hands shaking?

perfect in it's absolute power.

People began to grow jealous of each other, Jealousy that was born of fear and misunderstanding soon turned to resentment... And that turned into hatred.

Why..?

In their hatred, they turned on one another, and the fighting began between people who had never before fought. It was bloody, and the fight went on for countless years.

Finally though, the fighting stopped.

I'm dying...

Heroes from all over came together and worked as one to stop the destruction of the planet, they came to be known in myth, and then legend, as the saviors of the whole world.

I don't want this...

But that was a long time ago. So long ago now that only a very small number of people still actually believe that those champions or the lands they had dwelled within ever really existed.

Please someone...

Now though... Heroes aren't a thing in the world now. Bravery, courage, selflessness... These are the traits of the weak, and they are met with death.

Why is my blood so cold...
