For the transition between the captain and the soldier, fade bgms, along with dialogue will work wonders. In addition, instead of changing the faceset to reflect the sprite they changed into, maybe you can keep the faceset of the original characters? Since you are using facesets all the time (no matter how minor the character is), it can get a little confusing, especially with dialogue.

I just might do that. (I realize I need to edit some of the transitions that happen to be a bit abrupt.)

Guess who's back! Back again!

This game has been on an unannounced hiatus for the past 3 months. The reason being: A computer malfunction. Due to an angry cry and fist slam later, my computer is in the shop, damaged beyond repair. And, to my shear delight, I lose all my MUSIC, and more importantly, nearly 70% of data for this game.

Some in-depth counseling helped me get through the immense amount of pain that wrought my soul...

But! Things are looking up because I am now right back to where I was before I lost the data, and I may even go to say that I am a bit further!

In other words - This game is still on, and this series is still in motion! I have high hopes for this game, and I'm not going to let a little mishap take me out of the race.

I hope to return soon with some updates (via screenshots), to let you all know that I'm working.

Also, an updated of the demo will arrive shortly as well! (I have gone through and fixed a few things with the demo.)
