Using the sprites that GrandmaDeb from RphMakerVx.net uploaded here: http://www.rpgmakervx.net/lofiversion/index.php/t8711.html

I was able to edit and work my butt off all morning to create this:

Normal Sized:

Larger Sized:

They're made for rpg maker vx....

Lemme know what you think, I tried pretty hard on this since I really needed it myself, it's only my second sprite edit, but I think I did a pretty good job, the only thing I wasn't sure about was the facing up sprite....

The only suggestion I could give right out would be to avoid pillow shading. That is, shading where the light source is a giant spotlight pointing out from the view. This is especially obvious when looking at the back of the T-Rex. Also the back of the trex where his head meets his body should be thicker, and his head should be lower.

You should pick a direction. Most people pick the light source coming from the top left.

Otherwise it's pretty good, thanks for submitting it. Even just as a lizard sprite it's useful.

Well the sprite was already shaded, what I did was erased the horns and wings and rebuild the broken parts as much as I could, so I didn't do any shading, what's there was there originally, however I do agree his about the back of him I just found his head was too round, an actual t-rex gets significantly thinner at the neck - shoulders area... but his head does make it look much smaller tongue.gif

Thanks for the tips though, I'll remember the shading in future submissions

I like it! It looks pretty good. The green one looks the best.
