Penguin's Staff Sprites, Sprites of our very own R3 Staff! Options

Probably should do it in your own topic. It's been a bit overwhelming to look out and think, but the next "to do" list for me might be to create a pinned topic of all the resources available here, like I did with the completed games. I've been mulling it over for awhile, but if I do decide to that it won't be for awhile.

I have a brilliant idea!!

I'll make my short game with my sprites in VX, and Bill, you make a short game with your sprites in XP. Then KAZ AND HOLDER can decide whose is better. Like it?

You're on, but you have a start because you already have the sprites!
Guess this means i REALLY have to work on them tomorrow! xDD

I'd love to play either one. I've also began work on an RRR project using the VX sprites. A lot of the planning is done. I'm guessing altogether it will be between 3 to 4 hours total, so maybe that should be the maximum threshold? While community type projects can be fun, they can also get exhausting, so that's my suggestion.

The great thing is, now that we have these sprites, we can do community themes and contests for best quick game.

October should be a Halloween contest. December Christmas. Maybe a Valentines romance rpg for February. Beach Them for July.

Edit for Bill: Have you thought of using Galter's approach and instead of making full 2 tile sprites, making them 1 and 1/2 so that they easily work with both VX and XP?
