Orokami Story Board (There is more of the story, but this is what is explained to the player)
Story Board/Setting
In the past, a world of harmony and Peace existed. People where simple and thus "Misunderstanding" was a word never found in their vocabulary. Today, we found ourselves Divided; Raising Blades against one another. We had come to the conclusion that War was the only way. To make matters Worst, we have scattered ourselves by race and opinions. Salbarians: Finding a way to always improve themselves... These humanoid tribes depended on their brains and Technology, as time when on, it became obvious that the Ground made most of their territory . Espers: Created by the humans, this creatures Relay on their Stamina and "Special" skill. their territory is made mostly in high grounds, Compressed mostly of Mountains and Flying islands. Cyphers: Ancient like Elementalists. This Nomads move around the Planet in search for something, they can be found in places where Soul energy is strongest. In our history: Salbarians Created the eSpers as a chance to evolve into a better society, but not all the Salbarians where capable of surviving the transformation. Jealousy arise the masses, arguments where often created, as a result, a Civil War Broke out. The Salbarians, under such disadvantage in power created balloons, soon called air strikes. allowing invasion and strategic Raids on the eSper. Outnumbered as the Espers were, they out match the Salbarians. Time went on, and the eSpers created the Orokami a Genetic infusion of Soul and Mind that allowed an eSper's power to be under their full control. With their new mechanics, the war took a greater Scale. The Cyphers who had been a neutral tribe started taking action to stop both Salbarians and eSpers. Knowing very well the eSpers were only protecting themselves, Cyphers were often found on their side. soon enough, it became a full scale war. Salbarians were losing, Cyphers got scared and retreated off to who knows where. nobody could seem to find them. However, a change in strategies made the Salbarian's morale and strength increase. These were the Soul Eaters: created by Salbarians as their new experiment with the purpose of Wiping out all eSpers. With no real shape or form, this creatures have the ability to eat the souls out of any living thing and obtain power equal to it, until their hunger re-appears. The war, which was soon to end, lasted 4 more years. eSpers, close to their extinction, Forced a sudden comeback. they released the group called Dark Knights: a Group of the most powerful Elite eSpers Who's purposes where to search artifacts and improvements to what the eSpers already had. thanks to them, The uses of the Orokami where mysteriously improved. on the other hand Soul eater just kept getting stronger. they where just too many of them being, mass produced by the salbarians; they came wave, after wave after wave. With time they took control of themselves and grew stronger, they got independent from their creators and soon where off to look for artifacts. But by that time, the eSper population was too low. the fights had already ended, and the war was over... the only thing left of all that tragedy was us. the Resistance... the new uses of the orokami and the downfall of the Salbarians created an opportunity for all the tribes to slowly start working together. DarkKnights, eSpers, Salbarians, Cyphers, all in danger of extinction now, and the Soul eater's numbers increasing by the minute

Features
Recipes : Weapons -challenge- : find all recipes in the game. create a weapon and see what fits you best! you can get weapons from. monsters,shops,secret places - made into *Boraku* Boraku is : Spheres that attach to your "Orokami" that will then use Soul energy to use your weapon/object. Small spheres. also : the *Ranks* From, S,SS,SSS,S4.(testing names) - are much likely to be *Ranks* of these weapons. there are 4 in total. Pierce, Smash, Slash, Range. be wise full with what you make of! and make the ultimate weapon! Weapons part 2 : -challenge- : find alot of materials > to create weapons > using recipes. Recipe's also involve Materials. watch for certain materials in you "notebook" given. you can see what type of monsters you've collected and what kind you have seen, dropped materials. Materials are used to create weapons > using recipes. bought from, shops, monsters found in area.
Notebook(test name) : will keep track of what type of monsters you have fought in the past. viewing all of their information and capabilities just by looking @ them with you death wing's eye(done automatically). You are able to see their. drops>hp>sp>statuses, and some more.(hunting! much?)
Combo system : If you wonder around, you will find temples, challenges, rare objects>artifacts. this will test your determination on expanding your character's will. giving them extra power helping you in your journey. such as : special weapons > items > Combo extension. probably more.
Run Run! : By holding down the "X" button, you can sprint. However if you sprint for too long, you will not be able to sprint again for a couple of seconds. watch your stamina!
Menu? what menu?: By pressing the "LShift" opening your menu, to check what you have gotten trough out your experiences.
Story guide/Quest Guide : what do you mean you haven't played this game in a while? well no problem!, I have made it possible. The game tracks your quest/Story part. that allows you to tell you, what have you gone trough with. Talk to the statue next to the save crystal.
Race mode... like racing? : The sportsmanship affects your abilities by helping you gain new items!, combo moves!, and even rare equipment!. By racing others in your dreams Helps your ability of your character!. be a great SDP Dreamer (Soul Dreamed Projection). The SDP has been a dreamt world, that has been able to turn something of no other. creating a space world, into your mind by going to a save crystal. with this, you're able to acces this world, if you win tournaments, challenges or anything else. you might get something special!.
Over world map/Instant travel : this allows you to go to places where ever you have been before, with the types of crystals that exist in that area. -over world moves much like "Baten Kaitos" if you haven't played it before, I recommend you look it up. simple yet, helpful.
Resulting System : Every player is graded in the end of every battle!, deciding your experience and money. Also invokes the "Chain System" if you kill certain enemies in a row, you will gain more experience. But only if you kill the same type of monster. The chain will end as soon as you kill a different type of monster groups.
Shop : In this type of Custom shop, you are able to buy, materials, recipes. watch out for these. Shop2 : in other types of shops you are able to buy items, Equipments. watch out for these.
Characters
(There are more to the characters than this story, which gets explained trough the game as you go) There is like a x3 DEEP background for every single one of these characters, don't expect this to be all, because then it will just ruin it for you. yes these characters also have backgrounds and last names. I dislike the types of games that you have to see a "manual" for and everything is unclear to the player, The story explains the character in a not-boring way.(hopefully)

Background
Seen on the bottom that's renkai forums din't let me upload the picture (image extension, what's that?). Renkai, a happy boy who has been corrupted by his experience in life. when he grew up he's more of a Lone wolf, but accepts help whenever possible, he keeps his "weak" feelings protected, he later became a man. 2nd in hand of the [Dark Knights] From Dirian [his teacher] He lives with a Curse such as "Curse of the Deathwings" drainning your life, soul, and killing everybody. triggered by emotions, rage, fear. Renkai holds his grudge and tries to maintain his form until provoked
"he fights. He forgets. He's cursed with regrets. "I will fulfill my promise. It is because of them, that I cannot stop. I know, that I am not alone"
[Dirian Forte/Tomato Head/aware guy] 22 year old male, Orokami User - [Pierce], Esper. Orokami : Neck
Background
Dirian, is a leader of the [Dark Knights]. People consider him as a "blind" leader. He picked up Rena as his first student and later met Renkai. Dirian has a disability to see with his eyes, so he wears glasses he made himself. He fights for his wife "Done" who is handicaped on a weelchair because of a sickness. He wishes he could find a cure for her, but he finds himself fighting [Soul Eaters] sacraficing his own life. She still lives today, and he cares for her, as much as he has the will to end this war.
He's missing glasses for sure. To be honest - he really likes them. "There is no truth. Only awareness."
Gameplay(cutscene)
[Rena/red head/tomato head] 17 year old female, Steel arms - [Smash]. Esper. Orokami : owns one, but cannot use it.
Background
Rena, is a "failure" of an esper. Rena is unable to use the orokami, even if she is an Esper. She lived in a quite village who got invaded by humans during the war. She then later found one of the [Dark Knights] [Dirian]. She joined his group, however she also has her great ability of a great stance taught from her dad. called [Steel arms] Making your body as hard as steel and quick and fast as possible, she tries to master this, while Dirian while being highly impressed, teaching her. soon later after the few years into the war, Rena left for another mission, while Renkai and Dirian go ahead straight into the war.
[Mako/mummy] 17 year old male/Orokami User - [Slash], Esper. Orokami : Left Snoulder
Background
Mako (last name), A Teenager soon to be an adult. He was scarred by the villagers who lived in his town for being too ritch and not sharing the money with them. His(mom&dads) house got burned down and they both died in the accident. Mako's body suffered a great injury burning most of his body from the chin down. He's sensitive skin causes him to lack a lot of resistance. On the village Dirian & Renkai Are going for their first mission. All he knows his hatred. However, his fighting style of a grand axe specializes him with a great amount of strenght and protection, allowing him to be powerful however slightly slow.
"My scars shoud not be a problem. But my pain is what I cover... I hope that's alright, I'll never lose hope.you got that?"

who knows what's her real age, she's always hungry! However, if you manage to make her mad, she's a pretty powerfull woman.Turning her little cat ears into demon wings, and completely defiling anything she see's in her way. Who knows, what happened to her... but is good that she is on our side.

Saku Raiden 17 year old male. [Slash/Range] Orokami : does not own one.
Background
Coming from his own world, dragged from a portal fallen into this world. With his white hair and confident self. Electricity and Lighting(thunder) as his specialty. With his custom made scythe and shotgun all both into one weapon. The greatest thunder user of THIS world. He's been lowered and never seen great of, death of his father and younger brother traumatized him, not to trust anyone but himself. "You don't know true emptiness"
Mr.Smile/Tsusuya[/b] Unkown(estimated age =40). [Pierce/Slash] Orokami : does not own one.
Background
A male penguin brown suited man with white snow hair coming from another distant planet. He calls himself "Mr.Smile" This rare man disguises himself under his mask. However a very agile fighter and a very well on using poison based attacks and effects. Not much is known from him however all he ask's is for a smile. "Smile with mr.smile!"

What happened :
What DID happen?
well, I just moved in to Pennyselvania, got a few things working. After a few weeks before moving to my new house(currently I was at my couzin's house). I came to a problem, drawing the new character(Mako)(concept art) I deleted a windows file by mistake.... And my computer spiked and I got the blue screen. I personally don't know how to fix it, or get the files. If anybody can help with that, I'll be glad. However, I only get 2 options. When I start up with that hard drive.
Windows repair(blue screen) Start windows Normally. Command prompt does not work, neither do I know if I can transfer the file trough an external cable-hard drive, thing.(Safe mode does not work either)

What DID happen?
well, I apparently had a version of my game 2 months before my HARD DRIVE died.I had the backup files in my disc. However, The sprites were not backed up neither where my side backup. The CODES(rpt/map/database/heroes) apparently made it trough. However. it is still VERY out dated than the one I had(alot of things can happen in 2 months). I managed to get the file from one of my demo testers, and he had the game, i was happy! still am. However, this time. I do not clearly remember what i have done, and I am missing a couple of resources. *New hard drive : (300 gigs)(ew.) I will be depressed yet, slightly working on this game again. however, when I get to the point I was before I was planning on giving a bit of a tiny release of my game. including it's backup/concept/and all sorta things. So that won't happen again. Thank you for waiting.
