Trying to activate ANY Enterbrain game, ...is not happening... Options

I've been attempting to get the trials from http://www.rpgmakerweb.com to work to absolutely no avail. Upon entering the trial keys emailed to me, the program sits at "Connecting to the activation server:" forever. I've been in contact with their support, and so far have not been told anything that has helped. I've disabled my firewall, I've reinstalled the programs (IG maker and RMXP, specifically) etc.. I am running windows 7 64bit. I'm told this is a problem for RMXP (though I honest to God cannot understand why it runs but simply doesn't ever connect to the activation server as a result of this) but I've updated the IG Maker trial install as instructed, run everything as an admin, and nothing works. Interesting (or perhaps not so much) aside, when I click on "Buy this game" from within the programs, it tries to go out to cogenpost.com, which does not work.

Anyway, has ANYONE successfully activated a trial from there? Has anyone on win 7 64? I'd really appreciate any help anyone can give me at all.

That Progexis (if it's spelled right) reg fix doesn't work and as this current version seems unrelated to nTitles it's also irrelevant now, as far as I can tell. Yes, I was desperate enough to even bother trying that. This is just getting ridiculous. Le sigh. Thank you very much in advance for any and all help ANYONE can offer.

You could try turning off the Windows UAC and see if that fixes it.
Start -> Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control Settings

If not, do you have any other Software based firewalls installed, other than the default Windows Firewall? (Comodo, etc)

UAC is turned off and I have no other firewalls installed.
