I love the character maker, because it lets you make your characters a lot more original if your not good at drawing. But there's one problem that I've had with the character maker which really kind of sucks & its that the characters that I make usually come out somewhat transparent when I use them in my game. I was wondering if there is anyone that uses this tool that knows how to make it so the characters don't come out slightly transparent.

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

Make sure you haven't checked Transperant in the events you're using.

I didn't check the transparent box in any events. Its weird, only certain parts of the characters are transparent, its a lot more noticeable when I make my character walk around.

Are any parts of your character the same color as the background? If you set the background to go away, the same color on your character will go away, too. If that's the case, use something like Paint to change the background color.

EDIT: If I'm talking about the wrong type of transperancy, please forgive me. I didn't really understand if you meant see-through or semi-see through. sweat.gif

Sorry it took so long to respond. Yes, the parts that are transparent are the same color of the map, so the character isn't completely transparent, just parts of him are for some reason.

Use a program like Paint to change the color of the background. Make sure it's different from all the colors on the character. Then it shouldn't happen anymore.

If you are using the Character Maker program, it will be the very first color in the palette that will be transparent in RPG Maker. If this is not the case, all you need to do is go to the Resource Manager. Go to charsets, and then import the ones you made. When you see the preview of the image, click on the background. It should be flashing, then import it. It should work then.

Let me know if that was not the issue you were having.
