We’re introducing a wide new selection of graphics including maps of Japanese castles, civil war military commanders and supernatural monsters, along with Shinto priests and samurai. Compatible with the full version of RPG Maker VX, these new graphics will add an authentic Japanese flavour to the worlds available in RPG Maker VX.
The most attractive features of this new graphic material are the additional monsters. We’ve replaced the standard slime and dragon monsters with civil war military commanders, ninjas, demons and head spinning ghosts to provide you with a set of authentically Japanese characters.
There are over 200 new maps, monsters, main characters and face graphics to choose from in this new collection. Everything you need to create an authentic historical Japanese adventure is ready for you. This addition is perfect for those of you who already own a copy of RPG Maker and want to do more with additional themes and graphics.

After I got the graphics downloaded I slowly looked through them - as to not skip over anything that would really catch my eye. I continued to browse until I got to the battlers - in which case I was extremely disappointed. They promised over 200 graphics and while there is over 200 of them, the battlers are all duplicates - they merely flipped the image! (shown below) They also took a few of the battlers and just did simple color changes (not shown below). I will post examples below (with a watermark so no one can steal them).

Now, while the artwork is amazing and they all look very nice and there's also quite a bit to choose from, there's 168 battler images, half are duplicates, and yet eB! says there's over 200 battlers/face/map/etc graphics. If you take out the duplicates and add all the other resources you got in the pack, you only get 145, (including the ones that are the same graphic but with different colors) which means eB! owes you a minimum of 55 resources, especially because they claim to have over 200 resources in the pack. Now while this isn't just a complete rant, I do have to say these resources are well put together, and the price wasn't too bad either (Just think about how much this would all cost if you had commissioned someone for these!), but eB! does need to work on their sales pitch. If you want to purchase them yourselves, the link is at the top of this post.
Discuss what you think about the new resources, I know there has been a few topics about them but this is the first I've seen of an actual review.
