Before I get into the main focus of this RP
If someone wants to, they are welcome to start an RP based on the evil team in RP, the group known as Blood Seed. I'd rather keep this RP based on the heroes side of the story, otherwise it would kind of split whats going on and make the RP difficult to handle.
I'm also setting this in the World of Alsta, for the sake of familiar names and the chance to not be a human. If anything, only the name Morento will be used and the Diagan and Remalre races. Don't worry if you've never taken part in a WOA RP before, as this is pretty much a different type of story and setting.
THE HOLY SHIELD ARE ACCEPTING RECRUITS! People of Morento, your safety is under threat by a so called army of freedom! This army of freedom are nothing more than blood shedding villains that go by the name of Blood Seed. What started out as petty theft has now become murder and terrorism. These people need to be stopped at all costs.
Their sudden appearance and quickly growing numbers are slowly taking this cities people and resources. Everything out past brothers and sisters fought to protect! We cannot be walked upon like this any longer!
I, The Tower, ask you, the public, to give us your skills and talents and become a Hero in training. You will be trained in hand to hand combat and be taught by the rest of the Holy Shield to develop your talents and skills. We can only stop Blood Seed with your generous help. Do not be scared by your talents, let us help you put them to good use. - The Tower

Your objective is to join the Holy Shield and stop Blood Seed and find out what is behind their attacks other than hatred.
Your character must also attempt to balance life while helping Holy Shield defend against attacks. There will be a chance to develop your characters non-hero in training time at college or work. Because of this, we'll probably use time(Like in the persona RP's) unless each character is together in one large group.

Holy Shield HQ[b] The HQ is a small warehouse found near the port of the city. The HQ has only been around for several months, its very basic, but dedication has been put into making it run as a home and as a place of work and training. Among the items around the warehouse, included with them is several training dummies for combat skills training and marksmanship if you have a projectile based ability. Several computers and consoles are scattered around to keep tabs on who has what power and what they can do. They have a van to get around the city.
[b]Nine Circles College A fine college to teach students true manners and the history of the past world, the conflicts that took place and why certain events happened. The college has most of the facilities you'd expect: Several large gyms and 2 pools for physical education, among other things, a well filled library and a brilliant lab. Interestingly, most of the recruits in The Holy Shield and Blood Seed are young people...
Blood Seed Barracks Named so, because it is seen as an army of Freedom by the leader, Vortoxic. To the north of Morento, a large building sits, it has a similar design to most office buildings, tall and designs with hundreds of windows to keep the light flowing in. However, underground is where the rest story begins and ends.
The Great City Mall A typical shopping center, filled with whatever you need for your daily life assuming its a normal daily life. Your character might work in the labyrinth of shops and services.
These are not the only locations in the RP, but possibly the most used ones.
Races of Alsta
The people of Alsta Race will not effect the powers your character can have
Human In recent years, human births have declined slightly. They still have a great amount of power, although Morento is still a neutral city and favours none of the people. Some Humans like to have surgery to appear similar to Remalare or Diagan, for example, ear surgery to have longer ears or dental implants to have fangs like a Diagan.
Remalare The Remalarian people are wary of mixing into cities, as past conflicts have caused hatred withing Human and Remalare relations. They have blue (Often with hints of green) skin and traditionally silver or brown hair, although modern day fashion changed that. Their ears are longer than humans, hang down and stick out, easily noticed and was once, many years ago, an unpopular trend in Morento, although this is no longer to be ashamed of. Once upon a time, Remalare were rumoured to live extended lives, almost double of what a normal human lived.
Diagan Diagan are beast-like people, their bodies are naturally covered in fur and their physical shape varied from tribe to tribe, some were larger and more muscular while others were smaller in size and muscle mass. In recent years, Diagan people sometimes have some fur removed from their bodies(usually face and chest in some cases, whole bodies) due to fashion trends, or even dye it different colours. The Diagan race have always been on good terms with both Humans and Remalare.
(It is possible to take part as a mix of the 3 races)
Powers and Abilities
Your powers are not simple to just use, you'll need to stay focused on the matter at hand and fight on your peak condition if you plan to survive in combat with Blood Seeds Soldiers. You pay for your powers with your energy and stamina, you can't throw countless fireballs and expect to keep going for hours, they will drain your energy and you will certainly feel it in some way.
Your powers will come in different forms, some might be more physical while some might be more demanding on your willpower. Your powers will also have a role, while your fighting skill is one thing, you cannot charge into the front line if your power is better from a distance to give support to your allies. All in all, your ability and powers will enhance you in smaller ways that you may not notice. If you can teleport to other locations, you memory or locations you've been to is probably a lot better than others, if you have great strength, you can probably take a great deal of damage and be difficult to move.
Everyone has a weakness and you must try to hide it and defend against it as well as possible.

Special weapons: (By the Holy Shield code, you are forbidden to kill your enemy unless there is no other way.) Personality: (Think about how your characters personality would work with noble heroes like The Tower and his Holy Shield Code) Background: (include occupation if they have a job) Relations to other characters: (Optional, just say if you’re related to another user’s character, but ask their permission first.)

Rules:
No godmoding characters, don't create a character that cannot get hurt.
No Power abuse, your character is not a machine, they WILL get hurt and tired.
Do not choose powers that cannot be defeated, you must have a weakness of some sort.
Do not control another user's character without permission, ask first and make sure to follow the characters personality to the best of your ability.
If you have to leave for some reason, please try to make sure you had your character over to someone else to control while you're away. Otherwise, that character might be killed.
At max, I'll allow 3 important characters to each member, you can create NPC's for anyone to use. It would actually be worth creating a Blood Seed Character for interaction with your Hero character. Although you shouldn't need to worry about it straight away.
NOTES :
Most of the RP will probably take place in the city of Morento, as its set a little in the present day(based on real life i guess), it will be a large and varied city.
Your character probably won't want to follow the Holy Shield's code all the time, epecially if a member of the Blood Seed has met your character before joining either side. Infact, if this takes off, there will be a chance at some point to change everything and completely change sides.
As a heads up, your characters will be given a specially designed mobile phone by The Tower of the The Holy Shield. It will have a popular (annoying) ringtone and a horrible auto spell.
Your first post should be of your character activating their powers by accident, infact this is probably a good idea if your character is going to be a college student.
Starting point The starting point will be around 2pm on a tuesday, 21st of November. Students will be in a classroom. Others will be doing whatever they do, working for example. Maybe your character could be a college professor teaching his/her class when their powers are suddenly activated? Maybe a student has to excuse themself to head to the toilet suddenly for an unexpected reason? Its your choice.
Shortly after, you'll be taken to the Holy Shield's HQ and join the team...
Real Name: Luke Matthews Code-Name: Red Cross Gender: Male Age: 19 Species: Human Appearance : Short blond hair, brown eyes, noticeable stubble. Wears a grey jacket with a red t-shirt which has a grey cross on it the arms of the cross are usually difficult to see due to his jacket which he wears almost all the time. Black baggy jeans and grey trainers. Not noticeably tall or fat. Costume: A grey suit with a red cross on it. The bottems are sturdy and the shirt features a red cross similar to the casual clothing’s one. Features gloves with metal plates and the boots feature similar metal plates. He wears a Black hood with goggles. Special Power: He can fire red heat blasts from his hands, although they often start as small beams at first before shortly becoming larger almost the same shape and size as his open palmed hands, at first, the beams will be a minor annoyance, and cause no damage. It is possible for him to temporarily blind someone or melt small objects, the larger blasts can be devastating but take time to prepare to use. He has resistence to high temperatures and burns. He must remove his gloves before using the blasts. His hands are often naturally warm and can sometimes make frozen snacks difficult to fully enjoy. Special weapons: none aside from his gloves. Personality: Despite his appearance (Dark colours) he is a somewhat friendly and considerate person, often undemanding of anyone. He hates wasting his time however and will often complain if it goes unfulfilled. He can be reclusive at times, fearing going out too often. When he discovers his powers however, he unconsciously changes his mind forgetting about his past fears. Background: He moved to Morento from Melra when he was 7, he barely remembers anything from then. His mother and father moved back to Melra when he was 15 and from then he stayed with his Aunt Maria. In recent days, he has become scared of going out due to Blood Seed attacks. Relations to other characters: none.
Sounds fun, i'm in. I'll see how this goes and then, after i got a bit of a better idea of how this world works out, i'll be more than glad to open the evil side.

Code-Name: Smaragdus (Emerald in Latin)
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Species: Human
Casual appearance: Short, around 5'1". He has dark bags under his eyes, probably from reading too much. The hood he normally uses can be closed completely to turn into his costume.
Costume: The hood is transparent from the inside.
Special Power: Oswald can create clones of himself at the expense of his concentration, the more clones, the harder it is for him to keep them up. Also, even if not the full thing, Oswald feels a fraction of whatever pain his clones receive. While the death of one of his clones isn't enough to actually hurt him, the death of five or more of his clones on a row will knock Oswald out. Because of Oswald's hot tempered and at the same time, smart ass personality, unless all of his clones are focused on the task at hand, they frequently get into fights with each other. The clones will have the same clothes as Oswald but not the same belongings. By example, if Oswald is carrying a pen and makes clones of himself, only the original will be carrying a pen. The clones all have roughly the same strength and endurance as Oliver, if one of them reaches the point where it can't fight anymore or it's called back, it'll disappear in a puff of smoke.
Special weapons: A battery powered taser, which the original Oswald keeps in his jacket's pocket and tends to use for sneak attacks while his opponent is busy fighting the clones.
Personality: Oswald was, since childhood, obsessed with acquiring more knowledge and power, caring little to nothing to social or physical activity. As such, his treatment towards other is usually straigh to the point and direct. He also, through his learning, inserted in his mind the idea that people (Humans, Remalare and Diagan alike. Although he has slightly more respect for Remalare because of their ancient culture.) are stupid. He treats everyone and anyone as stupid and also has a massive ego, which contrasts with his lack of height. His height. His height is a subject which he is quite...Delicate...About. Oswald never allowed himself to have time to spend on his "childhood" per say, so he makes up for that by having an overall childish behaviour while talking other people and even when fighting. Despite all that, he also follows a "the ends justify the means" moral, also acquired from his background.
Background: Oswald is the only son of a couple of overprotective parents, which were both librarians. As such, Oswald would be homeschooled from birth and his free time would mostly constitute of him reading random books while his parents were working. He is awfully irritated about the Blood Seed attacks.
Relations to other characters: None as of yet.

Real Name: Terence Cliff Code-Name: Phase Gender: Male Age: 22 Species: Human Casual appearance: Terence’s notable features include long black hair, which he has done up in a ponytail, and green eyes. His casual attire consists of merely jeans, and a red T-shirt. If he finds the weather cold, than he adds a yellow hoodie to the mix. Costume: A large, navy-blue jacket that covers nearly every part of his body except for his feet and the upper half of his head, and a pair of sunglasses. Special Power: Changing Physical States/Density Terrance can change the composition to make himself has hard as diamond. In this state, he looks like a solid black Golem. The more dense he makes himself, the more powerful his blows, and he can take hits better. However, as he increases his density, he grows slower and his movements become hampered. When he solidifies himself to the point where bullets do nothing to him, he is barely able to even walk. His power also works in the reverse process, turning him into a clear liquid. While in liquid form, his offensive capabilities decrease, but earns the perks of improved manoeuvrability, fitting through tight cracks, and regenerative capabilities. The less viscous he becomes, the greater these capabilities, but at a bigger risk of being vaporized. Special weapons: None Personality: Terence is an introverted individual. Rather than go out with friends on Friday nights, he’s content with staying home and play video games. He leaves other people to there own problems, and prefers to handle his personal problems without outside interference. However, if College has taught him anything, it is to be proactive in the working environment. He makes his best attempts at taking the lead, or voicing his opinion in his job, or when he has to work on a group project, even if he is reluctant to do so. Background: Terence moved to Morento from a rural town in order to attend College. He currently lives in an apartment, with a roommate. In order to pay the bills, he works at the local grocery store as a cashier. Relations to other characters: None
Real Name: Jake Larveq Code-Name: Zap-man Gender: Male Age: 20 Species: Human
Casual appearance: Yellow eyed with spikey orange hair, Jake stands at 6 feet tall, casually dressed in blue pants, white shoes, and a purple shirt with a yellowfuzzy jacket and white gloves that are partially made out of rubber.
Costume: Skin tight material that is yellow with with thick white stripes zig zagging accross with thin blue lines inbetween. He wears a small mask black mask that just covers his eyes and has a yellow feather sticking out from the right and chains wrapped around his arms
Special Power: Manipulation of electricity. His body can create electricity at will, and he can toss it move it or re-direct it, and with enough focus move metal. This gives him a higher resistance to being electricity. His power grows with water on his body, in rain up to twice as much, when fully submerged it grow grossly, but using it submerged will fry his body from the inside out. However, due to his "abilities" characteristics, rubber makes him more or less useless, he has to consume alot of food daily, and he suffers from insomnia.
Special weapons: 3 iron chains, typically used for binding. He controls them like snakes using small currents. (he cannot use any other power while using these)
Personality: CHIVALRY, AND HEROIC! is what he wishes he could be. He lacks patience and never thinks things through, a bit of a dreamer. Who lives life charging in head first. VERY self confident.
Background: Jake has lived in Morento his whole life. Stirring up trouble as he grew up (all in good nature of course.) He is currently a motivational speaker, mooching / living in his parents house as they go travel the world "finding" themselves. Relations to other characters: He stalks ??????? None what so ever.

Real Name: Dominic Turner Code-Name: Skip Gender: Male Age: 21 Species: Half-Remalare Half-Diagan Casual appearance: Skip is easy to recognize, bearing both elongated ears and fang like teeth. Along with his silver hair and furry blue skin, he finds it impossible to hide his genes. Dominic has an athletic build, deep brown eyes, and fashionably trimmed head and facial hair. Most of the time he wears a plain white shirt coupled with a leather jacket and smart black trousers. Costume: Inverting the leather jacket reveals a collage of white circles, but Dominic's distinct appearance requires more effort to hide. A pair of tight skin colored gloves, a red balaclava, and a dark pair of sunglasses. Just for safety, he applies skin colored make up to his eyes as well. Special Power: Teleportation and Jumping. Skip is able to instantaneously travel to any location, so long as he is aware of its direction, regardless of whether he's been there before. This teleporting is equally as tiring as walking the distance, so is usually unnecessary unless timing is of the essence. Bringing items is as tiring as carrying the item for the journey, which makes carrying people incredibly stressful. Jumping on the other hand, is almost entirely random. By only vaguely imagining a location the journey is less tiring, and easier to bring people along, but falling from a few feet in the air in a random location within a few meters is common - and potentially harmful. Special weapons: Small throwing stars - fairly non-lethal, but potentially damaging. They mostly serve as a deterrent when coming from random directions. Personality: Dominic is very vain, very pretentious, and incredibly patronizing. He always accomplishes his goals as morally good as possible, but his intentions are often less than pure. He looks out for himself more often than for others, and sees being a 'hero' as an excuse to abuse his powers and fight in public without getting in trouble. He has some noble thoughts, and values life a lot more than people give him credit for. He often seems shallow, but you'd have to be shallow yourself to judge him at face value. Background: A Diagan father working in business, a Remalare doctor for a mother, Dominic was always destined to be odd but oddly brilliant. He wasn't liked by everyone growing up, something he put down to either jealousy or racism, but his grades through school and ability to survive a fight let him slip under any abuse. After a string of short loves he realised he only really cares for himself, and began his path to vanity. He currently works for his Dad, crunching numbers on the side to earn a little money. Bad news, I'm going to have to postpone this RP for maybe a week.
My laptop broke out in blue screens this morning. Its not dead, its going to get fixed probably monday. I'm using my brothers laptop now and I only have limited access to his computer and no access to my RP documents on my own laptop. Sorry about that. So sorry.
