How to make your Event graphic move, without touching or talking to it.
Firstly you have to allow the [Step Animation] to be ON.
this will make the graphic move.

Next, you have to switch ON the Direction Fix as well to prevent the graphic to change to a different one.

Here are some Screenshots to help.

If you need any help, dont hesitate to PM me smile.gif

I'd almost want to commend you on making a guide to the simplest possible thing so that people will take you seriously for your next topic, "Remember to wipe your ass", except you didn't even go into the incredibly shallow depth of the topic. For one, direction fix is not something to put on for most cases; it will mean that anything moving in a direction oter than the one it's currently facing will have it glide sideways, an effect that does not look good. Most sprites with any reason to move around happen to be people, or animals, who will not spontaneously change to another graphic on a whim.

Second, you do don't at all explore the set move routines you can apply to an event, which is arguably the part of it someone might need a guide about. This is pretty beginner stuff you're dealing with; like you said, easy to learn. Six short sentences does not a guide make.

i think the point for this guide in his mind was to make the graphic animate not move just a misunderstanding maybe o.O? because he does explain what the check boxes do and he said how to make it move maybe thats what he meant o.o

Scientist A: "A single sperm has 37.5MB of DNA information in it. That means a normal ejaculation represents a data transfer of 1,587.5TB."
Scientist B: Too bad ejaculate has terrible packet loss
Scientist C:but the transfer does have a lot of redundancy
