XMO and Piz: Thanks. It definitely needs some tweaking but Im glad people like the concept. My favorite concept ever is the idea of machine clashing with nature. Things such as abandoned clocktowers filled with vines to humans with robotic gears. It gets me all giddy thinking about it and a lot of my art actually consists of that.

Hom: Thanks. Yeah, Ive always been interested in the grimdark thing and try to make things unintentionally creepy/crazy looking. Its actually really cool to hear comments from you.
I really love how you do chins and how you break things down to make them all jagged. x:

Anyways, its pretty far from perfect or complete and even acceptable so I gotta finish it and chug through. IIll definitely post my progress though. ~o:

Yeah, I think the idea of mixing nature with machinery is cool. You're doing a great job at that, and I'd like to see you work on non-human creatures that are a mix of nature and machine. (Things that could be used in a game, even.)

yeah this is something ive always wonted to do
those scenic pictures with the tree and cave are actually side scrolling mockups and ideas

its a little simple
working on boss concepts and ideas
I really wanted the boss to clash
coloring is super sloppy

What is the boss reaching for? Or just an example of arm's length?

The idea is that there are 4 platforms and 3 gaps and the boss tries to trap you in between the arms so that the head can attack
eventually once you do enough damage the arms will start coming for you

Also cool, I prefer side-scrollers versus most of this other junk that comes out. XD
