There will be no ally system in update 4 for the following reason's explained on my thread: http://zeldaengine.net/thread-111-post-1387.html#pid1387QUOTE I would like to point out one major thing before I complete my updates which people have been talking about. There will be no ally system in Update 4. The XAS Ally System was a direct rewrite of XAS V3.4 and not an external script. Therefore it is not compatible with the current version of XAS we are using, let alone the PZE. An ally system compatible with the PZE would need to be written from scratch and I am not looking into rewriting large portions of XAS until the next update. This includes pixel movement and any kind of elaborate battle system, tool based work. The followers script doesn't allow you to have fighting allies on the map, they only follow you around and nothing else.

Hi there! " border="0" alt="smile.gif") Sorry for my absense from the forums - you see, a new member joined the PZE team a few days ago, increasing the team's size to 8 members (some of us are active everyday on the engine, while some others are more sporadically active). His name is Thunder and thanks to his high knowledge over XAS (he is a XASABS veteran), we made awesome progress on PZE the past 2 days! I will post more news in some days! This work needs patience and time, but I am so happy with the results so far. The new weapons are great!

Unfortunately, in the team, as you see, we accept only members who are active and are contributing to the PZE. You have been removed from both the Dropbox and the team, as you were inactive for really long time, and without informing the team (or other teammates) about your absense. This is not a club - is a team, so if you are not working on it, there is no point to keep the membership.  In this case, you, along with 2 other teammates (Alexcalibur and MauroTorres) are no longer members of the PZE team.

Also I agree a team member doesn't just "disappear" from the team especially without saying anything. For example some members work more often, whilst others work less often. Some members also have their work limited to only certain scripts (such as Message script, etc).

Hello everyone! The Project Zelda Engine's UP4 Alpha Version will be uploaded within the next days! As Alpha version, we note that it may have many bugs and glitches we haven't looked at, yet. We will not accept any bug reports at all, and if someone posts any bug reports, we will just ignore them. This is not a Beta version, so any bug reports are pointless for now. The only reason we upload the Alpha Version is to finally let the people get a taste of the new engine and its features, so they get used to it until the official release of PZE's Beta and Final versions. I will post more news soon! Please check frequently this post, here, at http://www.zeldaengine.net/thread-147.html , as it may get updated with the link for downloading the PZE UP4 Alpha Version. This is an unfinished demo version, not the official, complete version of PZE UP4 (which is gonna be released sometime during or after the Summer 2012) Reason of giving you this demo version is because people have been asking to playtest the Update Patch 4's new features so they can plan their games accordingly as the officially-supported (and complete) version of PZE UP4 comes this Summer 2012. We could really like to hear your opinions and we could warn you that you can use it at your own risk as it may be pretty buggy (its an unfinished version anyways.) Enjoy and have fun seeing the new features of the very promising Update Patch 4!

How easy is it to implement new enemies in this build? I notice all you have is the rainbow bush thing from LTTP.

I can't give right now tutorials about making enemies, but sure we will make tutorials as we proceed with enemy development in UP4.

The Update 4 Alpha is full of bug and glitch, but I can say that it is easy to change settings and other stuff in the UP4 like the Select Screen.  NOTE : I'm French and I translated all textbox in the menu. I can tell to everybody that the standart clock is easy to set, just turn 0 to 1 in 3 area in the "Time system" Script Plz tell me if my picture fit with the new background Thx
