Particle Weather

v 3
GasolineWaltz
12.28.10

Introduction
Finally got around to finishing this project.
*UPDATES*
-wind feature
-more control over particles
-a non-parallel process script
-duration that sort of works
-particles that don't scroll with the screen

Particle weather effects through $game_screen.p_weather(type, power, duration). look in script under #particle_struct for types of particles

Particle wind effects through $game_screen.p_wind(strength, duration, durection). script intro has more directions about both.

DEMO
Videoz
all of these effects look soooo much better in-game... I'm trying to find a good recorder, but to no avail. Especially with the rain, because the video capture is only recording at 30fps, you can barely notice the wind effects.

New Particles

I'll probably add a demo game later on

[edit]
fixed the links

I very much like this, I especially like the snow, it makes the game look more professional than the standard weather elements.

Hey, thanks man... It's a really unfinished project, I've been meaning to get back to it, as of right now it's more an extension of arevulopapo's particle system than anything.
