Complete Games
FAQ

Q-Where can I host my complete game?
A-Now that you've got a completed game ready (or a long demo) you can host it here on our main page. Remember to link from your submission to the forum topic containing information about your game to show that you have a discussion topic available (Paste it on the last line of the description).
If you already have a demo page about your project then you can edit the existing one so people don't keep playing the demo instead of the full game.
Here on RRR, simply Submit Game via our main page http://www.rpgrevolution.com/.

Alternatively from these sites:
Upload Sites
mediafire.com
Unlimited anything. For free users the sharing size is 200 MB / file max you can store unlimted MB though.

http://rapidshare.com/
500 MB file limit, same problem as megaupload. Also not everyone will be able to download from here. This should be more of a last resort.

http://hotfile.com/
Max size is 2 GB for free members, but 15 min between each download for people without a premium account.

http://www.sendspace.com/
Max size is 300 MB for free members, and 2 GB for Premium members. Again, waiting time between downloads.

http://www.filefactory.com/
Max size is 1 GB but the total file number can't exceed 25. Unless you buy a Premium account.

http://www.fileden.com/
Probably one of the worst. 100 MB maximum size, 1 GB of maximum storage space, and limited bandwidth. Even the Premium account isn't very good.

http://www.4filehosting.com/
Not very good either, with low caps for everything but bandwidth.

Q- My complete is not an RPG, is it still okay to post it here?
A-
Sure, we welcome all types of games here.

Q- I need help with a certain part of the game but I don't want to give anything away story-wise. Can I still post my problem?
A-
Use spoilers, the spoiler tag is great for not revealing things that unexpected people don't want to know. Plus this leaves the way for others having the same problem in that part. Just make sure you label it appropriately.

Q- What sort of things is best to include in a reply if I want to let the creator know something?
A-
The best sort of feedback is constructive and also detailed, to let the creator know the various problems and possible suggestions and/or solutions to correct these. It also helps if the person reading can understand what you are referring so don't assume they know at what location of the game you're at or what you've done so far.

Posting things like "Great game!" and "Loved it!" may seem like you're doing a good deed but it would make it 100% better if you elaborated on why it's great, what makes you love it so and finally what's preventing your saliva from staying in your mouth till the sequel? Give examples, it always helps explain yourself more to the creator and readers.

Keep opinions and fact separate, don't confuse the two. If you don't like a fan game then don't instantly judge a fan game until you've tried or if you despise them then remember the creator may actually like them.

One final note, remember flaming is only a sentence away, there's always nicer ways of putting negative feedback that can actually help its development on the right track instead of putting the creator off.

Just an update:
Any game with the tag [BDL] indicates the game's download link is bad/broken (non-functional).
These topics will be closed until the original owner can provide a new link for the game.

Also I may be planning to move the games into dormant to lessen the confusion. I'll think about it.
