Event problem, I needa make 1 event delete another. Options

Alright here's the deal, basically its suppost to look like this
event#1 Text:'You cannot pass here without the king's permission!'
i go talk to the king (there's stuff before this ofc altho its irrelevant)
event#2 Text:'Alright you have my permission'
and now i need event#2 to delete event#1.
Since i am a genius (not) i can't manage to figure out how to do this. So any suggestions?

This is fairly easy. What you will need is a switch. What I will do is make a switch called Permission. After you make your 1st event and it says you cannot pass. Make a new event tab on that event. On the left side where it says conditions check the 1st switch checkbox and make it your new switch you just made "Permission." This will allow you to pass once the switch is triggered. Now on your kings event page once you get done with your quest or what you want to happen at the end make the event "Control Switches." Hit your "Permission" switch and check it "On". Now once you head back to the 1st event you will be able to pass.
