(OoC: Dun dun dun dun! Here comes the "good" doctor! lol)

"mmhhmmmm?" Spick had noticed some noise on the ship, and also felt what he assumed to be it taking off, "Why is the ship moving? did those other crew come already? I wonder what they look like?" Spick had his mind set on, "examining" his crew, so he opened the door to from the medical bay and started walking around the ship, going to where the noise seemed the loudest. Ignoring the fact that he still had his gloves on from doing "Inventory" he walked around, making a slight mess when he touched a wall after stumbling a bit, and he finally managed to make it into the operations room. "Why hello, I would assume you are the crew." Spick finall took notice of his bloody gloves, "Do you know the password by chance?"

The World card pictures a dancer in a Yoni (sometimes made of laurel leaves). Everything is finally coming together, successfully and at last. You will get that Ph.D. you've been working for years to complete, graduate at long last, marry after a long engagement, or finish that huge project. This card is not for little ends, but for big ones, important ones, ones that come with well earned cheers and acknowledgements. A Salarian had emerged from deeper in the ship. He seemed like he belonged here though and knew of the password. The Illusive Man must have asked him to come aboard before the others. "Normandy," Abel said, with a hint of annoyance. "I'm Abel Mikami, your new captain. Now sit your ass down and buckle up. We're under attack and we're heading out as soon as the pilot takes his place."

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

"You are not the smartest captain now are you?" Spick grinned, "It is pretty common for organizations to give passwords, and if I had not known it before, I surely know it now, You seem a little too trusting. I like that." He took the order and sat down, "The name is Spick, I was asked to be the Medical Officer of this crew, a pleasure to see you all." He looked at the crew, and noticed that they seemed a little tired and or restless, "I would assume you all just had a run in with someone or something you didn't want to, is anyone hurt?"

(OoC: Sorry i haven't been involved much lately, been busy. I'll just try to put myself in)

Before anyone even realised what was going on, the ship whirred into action. Smoothly, yet swiftly lifting up into the air. "Lets get us out of here, and see what this thing can do then yea?" He looked over at the co-ordinator, he gave a slight nod, "We all ready over there?" There was a knowing glance between them. "Right, then lets be off!"...

"Setting coordinates..." Tyler started typing away at his console at an incredibly fast speed, a huge hologram of the whole universe poppep up above the table at the operations room. As Tyler typed, the hologram started to zoom in each time more. "Closest relay jump location, updating." The galaxy map focused on the Hawking Eta Cluster.

The ship launched and headed to the nearest Mass Relay as quickly as possible. Tyler was still typing, until a sudden blast knocked him off his feet. "We're under attack." Following the Phoenix was a huge Collector ship, it didn't seem to be very well though, it looked like it had undergone several repairs. The Phoenix was close enough to the Mass Relay, Tyler got up and typed in and started the mass relay jump. Just as the jump was about to start, the Phoenix took a shot, making it tilt slightly to the side.

The jump started, at first very with a huge recoil, knocking Tyler down to the ground again. As the ship spawned in the Hawking Eta cluster, the slight tilt seemed to have messed up a few of the coordinates for the jump. The Phoenix spawned too close to a planet and started being dragged by it's gravity. Tyler crawled to a nearby chair and sat on it, fastening the seat belt. The ship's systems started letting out warnings.

"Warning, landing speed above the recommended. Warning, landing angle is not recommendable. Warning-"

Tyler was holding tightly to his chair. "Pilot! Get the angle fixed or we'll be smashed against the ground!"

"Well played, Spick," Abel said with a smirk when he pointed out that it could have been a trap. "I think we'll get along just fine. Now-" He didn't get the chance to finish as they were struck by a Collector attack. He would have been thrown from his chair if he hadn't thought to buckle in. "Son of a bitch!" he yelled. "Where are my damn shields?! Whose in charge of our weapons and defense mainframe anyways?!" He realized he knew dangerously little about this ship and crew. This did not bode well. "Pilot! I want us on the ground in one piece! Yesterday!"

Sting grabbed the controls. "This is my time to shine!" He shouted arrogantly. "I'll us on that planet easy. Just keep that ship off us!" He stated to flick switches on the dashboard, redirecting the shields energy to the rear of the ship. After setting the defences up to how he wanted them, he clenched the manual steering with one hand, and flicked the lid on the afterburner button with another.
"You can't after burn towards a planet! You wont be able to stop or have enough control with the gravity pulling down on us as well!" And to that he just replied simply: "And where did you hear that?"
As soon as he spoke those few words, a click was heard, and the afterburners sparked into action. The ship firing at them from behind seem to almost disappear with the speed that they were going at, but the planet was coming up closer and closer. Faster and faster.
"Quick, give me a brief of the surface of that planet" He asked, a voice came from someone, he didn't dare take his concentration off the driving to look around:
"Tamahera, a planet with thin atmosphere of carbon dioxide and xenon. The surface is icy, and composed of sodium oxide with deposits of calcium. The presence of canyons and flood plains are prominent, watch out."
"Ok, lets see what we can do."
Using the over power from the after burners, as well as the gravity, he started to feel the pull of the planet drag him in, but this is what he wanted. The ship was just scraping the outer atmosphere now. He lent over and switched the after burners off, just before diving into the full-blown thick atmosphere. The ship shook violently, but he held it true. Swinging around the planet to very slowly loose altitude, he used the power from the afterburners to almost take the ship back out the other side of the atmosphere its self, from this he was able to slow the ship controllably, and slowly take it down to land in a more dignified way.
"There's a good spot to land up ahead, good reserves, looks sheltered, just in a canyon, land there"
Just as the person finished their sentence, the clearing came up ahead. Sting slowed the ship, dropped the legs, and lowered safely into the space provided.

Alecka stumbled down from her turret, she rubbed her arm then addressed the pilot, "That was either magnificent or terrible, it all depends on whether that gun still fires." she slumped down into a console and began checking the weapons systems, she tried a quick report, "It's a little bit stiff but I think the ship's battle worthy. From what I can make out we've got enough power and guns to fight them off if they return, I won't know what shape these are really in until I get a bit of target practice though... Half the time these things are calibrated by amateurs..."
She turned back, "Sorry, I'm rambling, I guess this is when the captain asks when we can get airborne again, I guess we thank our stars this is a Frigate, anything heavier and we would of been torn to shreds..."

Tyler shook his head, he was a bit dizzy from the fall. He took off his seatbelt and slowly made his way to the console, still being a bit hurt. He started typing and then after a moment he turned to Albel. "Ca...Urgh...Captain, i'm afraid we have an issue. The Collector hit seems to have slightly damaged a small part of the hull near the engine room. Nothing major, it's not gonna kill us or anything unless it turns into a hole, but it's fragile right now." He typed a bit more and then continued. "I've detected huge deposits of platinum and palladium nearby, if we found one of those deposits and brough some of the resources here we could fix the hole right here and now." He slowly made his way to a nearby medical station and finally found time to apply medi-gel to his leg. "It's your choice though...Captain."

Abel listened to the crew's report. "I want the repairs done now," he said when they were finished. "Better safe than sorry. Besides, we don't have any intel on what to do from here. I don't want to roam the galaxy mindlessly and hope we find something." He rose from his chair. "I'll lead a surface party down to harvest the ore. Anyone who wants to join me is welcome. Otherwise anyone from the meeting earlier is in change while I'm gone." He paused and thought for a moment. "Or if we all go, you guys can just do whatever."
He began typing on his omni-tool. Soon a man's face appeared on the screen. "Boss, is that you?" he said. "Where are you?"
"Long story," Abel said. "Good to see you still have this dedicated channel open."
The man laughed. "Of course, we'd never betray you, Boss."
"I know, I want you to pick five men including yourself and come to the coordinates I'm about to send you. Make sure you aren't followed."
"You got it, Boss!" the man signed off the channel.
"I'm bringing some of my own crew, I trust there are no objections. I'm establishing a hierarchy now. The present crew will answer to my men, my men will answer to the group from the meeting, whom I am hereby dubbing the "Selecao", and the Selecao answer to me. Now, suit up!"

"Very good" Sting said, "What if once you have found and mined the platinum and palladium, then i will drive out the small cargo depositor to carry the heavier things back. I think this ship has one..." He typed a bit to the screen and looked back up, "Yes, yes it does. So shall i?"

Tyler crossed his arms. "Well, at least you sound like you know what you're doing." He moved his leg around, the medi-gel had alredy made effect and his leg was back at full shape. He did a few high-kicks to check. "Right, i'm good to go." Tyler stood still for a while and then realized something. "Shouldn't we contact the Illusive man? He's ought to be worried."

"Not anymore." A voice came from from the ship's systems as the Illusive man appeard on the main screen. "I happen to have direct communication with this ship. While i don't like the idea of having a group of pirates in the ship but i suppose it's for the best." He took a puff of his cigarrete. "I just thought that you should know, i've had some agents pick up your things and take them all to your respective rooms...Also...About the Collector attack, Omega turned into a ghost town, i've sent a squad and we've found a few survivors but not many, lots of people disappeared, also."

Tyler looked down and grunted. "Well, a lot less criminals to deal with now, i suppose." He looked at Albel. "No offence." The Illusive man started speaking again. "I honestly have no idea how the Collectors came to know of our little meeting. Considering the circumstances the only way someone would be able to know about it would be if one of the people i recruited had given us in to the collectors." Tyler fixed his glasses. "Great, we got a traitor on board." The Illusive man added. "Actually, i have a good idea of who the traitor is, i have looked over the profiles and -"

-Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt-

Before The Illusive Man could answer the connection was cut off. Tyler started trying re-estabilish it. "It's no good, someone...Or something...Is cutting off our signals." Tyler looked around. "I don't like this, let's just fix this ship and then we can focus on finding out who's the traitor." Tyler started walking away. "I'll go get my breathing mask, meet you by the ship's airlock in five minutes."

As Cirrus drank his prized Ale, which cost him an unholy amount of Credits, he began taking notes on the crew trying to work out who could end up dieing first. His head had burning at that point, and he was stumbling around the engine room just as much as he was breathing; a lot. As he fell against the door to the engine room ready to do whatever the hell he wanted to whoever the hell he wanted, when he felt a sudden breach in the ship, and although it didn't seem lethal to the team it was close enough to the Engine room to send him flying against the wall opposite the door, tearing a rough, loud 'F**K SAKE' from his lips. He jumped to his feet, storming towards the operations room and glaring coldly at the crew.
Then he burst with laughter as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Wh-who's the *hic* smartass who crashd the *hic* ... thing into... y'know.. the *hic*... yeah that thing.... hehe... what's that big deformed *hic* thing? A coat....?" He laughed again, pointing at the Salarin Doctor who he hadn't seen yet.
"Hey.. where's *hic* you, everyone going planning to *hic* go..?" He said drowzily, seeing that they were geting ready to go somewhere.
"Is it *hic* a Battarian uh..... *hic*... what are those things called? A.. *hic... a pub! Yeah are you go, planning get ready go *hic* to a..... crap what was it again..? A-anyway..... *hic* can I come..?"

Alecka nodded to the captain, "I'll stay here and man the weapons, I doubt my skills will be needed for mining, not unless you want the ore somewhere in orbit~"
She was interrupted by a drunk, one of the crew from before, Cirrus.
"I think someone should take a nap, we're on a barren planet, aren't any pubs here."

Spick fell off of his seat due to the shot that the ship took, but unlike everyone else who seemed to get back up, he decided there was no actual benifit in doing so, and remained on the floor. "I know how to extract organs very precisly without causing any problems during an operation, but I have never tried my luck with mining."

While still on the floor he turned to look at the drunken man, then turned back to the captain, "Captain, I bet I can remove all of the alcohol from his body without killing him." He turned back to the drunk and looked him over, "Okay, maybe a 35% chance of him deing, but the odds would still be with us." Spick started to run various scenarios through his head about operating on the drunk man, most of which didn't end well for the poor guy.

"I think we could use your precision out in the field Spick," Abel said when he had proposed that he operate on Cirrus. "We'll give you a mining laser. It'll be like what you're used to, only more powerful." He turned to Alecka. "Lock him up somewhere where he can't hurt himself. You're in charge while I'm gone." He ran to catch up to Tyler. "Hey can I talk to you for a minute? It's about the traitor. Between you and me, what are your thoughts? It's not me and I don't think it's you. You got kicked out of C-Sec and this could be a chance for you to get your life back on track. I doubt betraying the Illusive Man is in your best interest. And I might be a criminal but hell, I'm honest. I'm in this for the money and it'd be stupid to walk away from a cool one million credits and the promise of more." He laughed. "So tell me, you think it could be one of the Selecao?"

Alecka nodded before gently nudging Cirrus towards the crew quarters, "Come on buddy, there's more booze just in here, I promise." She justified herself that she wasn't technically lying, there was a very small chance that there was booze in that room, but it was extremely unlikely.
She felt happy about being in charge, then tried to think who was actually onboard... Pretty much just her, random lower crew and a drunkard...
And the really good guns.
The really, really good guns.

Buer shot rapidly at the approaching collectors as he hurried into the ship. When he entered, he kneeled and took a glance at the others. He hurried into the cockpit to take a peek out the windows. Placing his shotgun (I realized I said sniper rifle before though my class is a vanguard. Shotguns and pistols. My fault =/) beside him. "The collectors won't let up." shouted Buer.

He hurried toward the captain. "Once a collector's eyes have targeted a victim, they will stop at nothing until their target is destroyed. Their minds are instantly programmed to initiate sudden rage. The path they take to hunt us down will be bloody. In other words, the longer we live...the longer innocents will die. On the other hand, however, that is just a theory."

Abel heard Buer running up behind him. "We'll talk later," he said quietly to Tyler and turned to Buer. "That's probably true. But stop and think about it. Commander Shepard already failed. Then the Illusive Man picked us to take his place. We're the best of the best and if we don't stop these things, who will? People here may not like me but I look after my crew." He clapped a hand on Buer's shoulder. "Don't worry. I won't let anyone here die."

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

OOC: Just so you know, Cirrus being drunk DOES have a purpose. It's my reasn for being inactive for a short while, but there isn't much I can do about it. Very sorry.
