Hey all, I'm going to be as thorough as I can be with explaining this. I tried eventing this, and for whatever reason, I did it in the messiest, most confusing way imaginable. (Leaving me with like 17 pages of events that ended up not working anyhow)

Basically, what I want is someone to offer you three choices.

This, obviously, is quite simple. But this is where my mind just left. Each choice is a "task," basically. When you accept Choice 1, you can't accept any of the other one's until you finish that Task.

Once you do finish the one you originally chose (I chose #1 in the example pictures), he congratulates you, and throws the remaining two choices that you haven't selected in the Choicebox.

[Show/Hide] Quick Example
Now had I chose Choice #2, for example, he would congratulate you for completing Choice #2, and offer Choice #1 and Choice #3 up to select.

Then, when you complete a second task, whichever one it may be, the final choice that you hadn't selected appears when you talk to him.

And, finally, when you complete all three, he offers a simple message like...

Could anyone find a way to Event this? Like I said, I just can't figure it out, and I strongly doubt this would require a script. Thanks in advance.

Well, it's quite possible without a script.

You would just make a very good use of Conditional Branch and switches/variables.

I'll see how it's done.

That was way faster than I expected to get a response. happy.gif Anyway, yeah, it was going good, but eventually it just got overwhelming and figured that someone else may know an easier way to reach this effect.

Hm, this were rather confusing, aye. My eyes are having trouble to figure out what I actually did to the events I just worked on. :|

I was doing something similar to that, but it was rather a Job/Task, and when I wanted to start another "job", the player would quit the first one in order to being with the new one... In fact, I think my idea works(and I was planning on putting it as a tutorial), but what you are asking is different... Removing choices?... I think its quite complex. Or at least, very large with the Conditional Branches.

Hm.....
I have a vague idea of what could be used... However its anything but simple. And so, useless in most of the cases.

Well, I'll check a little if I find anything to help you with it.

This is actually fairly easy to do with branches. If you give me a little bit, I could make an event and put everything needed in it and take a screenshot or demo... but this is very possible.

Suggestion: It consists of branches and self switches A, B, and C... and it doesn't have to have multiple pages either.
EDIT: Okay, so it's a little more complicated than I thought, but it's possible. It'll be easier if you set aside a variable for this kind of thing.

happy.gif Haha, I personally gave up on trying to do the event myself. If no one else can figure it out, then it's not a big deal. I can find a way around using this method if I must.
