Hey there! So here it is finally, after being nagged on IRC, Deviantart and the like, my art. I'll post WIPs, completed pieces and the like. Constructive Criticism of newly posted artwork is welcome (leave my old stuff alone! D:).

If you haven't noticed after looking at my artwork below, I love character design/art. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to most of my work (unless I forcibly make it sketchy) and I enjoy improvement.


My artwork. They're in order of history. Most of this is from this year, some from last year. There're also pieces that I've excluded that are available via my DeviantArt. The stuff that is discontinued (appear to be WIPs) are old and a different style to my current and if I were to complete them I think I would feel like I was tainting my developing style.

This is something I've decided to start specifically with RRR. I have doubts that I'll get any commissions, but what the heck, may as well. If you don't like my prices please please please tell me (or haggle).

Notes:
-Backgrounds are completely experimental because I have little to no experience in perspective. So don't expect much.
-If you'd like to order in bulk (e.g. a load of facesets), contact me.[
-I can do many different composition styles for a piece, like Cover Art or an advertisement or an action sequence.
-The extra cost per character doesn't apply to one picture (aka they can be separate) but the order must have each character.

Quick Information
How long does a piece take?
Somewhere between 4 and 10 hours, depending on the complexity and requirements you've set. So expect it to be finished within the next 3-5 days of commissioning me. If it is going to take longer than expected, I will PM you.
Will I receive a hardcopy?
No. All of my art is digital. As in it is made with a tablet via Photoshop (and SAI) at large enough resolutions to print (300dpi). So you could easily go to an A3 printer and print it, or get it professionally printed for like $5.
Do I own it?
Yes and no. I request the right to freely promote my own artwork in the form of a portfolio, thread (here) and deviantart. And that's pretty much it. You'll own exclusive rights to the piece upon completion of payment.
When do I get the artwork?
Obviously when I finish it. I will give you a full, non-watermark version upon receiving payment.
Can I preview the WIP?
Yes! I can show you every stage of development from Thumbnails all the way to Close completion. Your opinion is a high priority, especially if you're paying for it.
Your backgrounds are icky!
Oh definitely. I supply transparent background images as well as my version of the image.

What I'll need
-Detailed information (preferably profiles) about the character(s). Be sure to have Personality and Age!
-Preferred pose. They're your characters after all.
-Sprite sheets and images (including reference pictures) are welcome but should not replace a profile.
-Outline. Could you outline your character in a few words? e.g. Badass, secluded, spiteful, etc.

This picture is very beautiful~ The colors bring it to life as well as overall looking very polished. Wonderful job!

I'm going to go on Art hiatus for around 2 weeks while I deal with class finals.

I must say, the clothing and hair are amazingly well done. Your perspective isn't really that bad, the position of the guy is very nice, if
I say so.

Minor things such as detail in the shoes is the only thing I would point out.

Everything else about it is great and admirable. I always love coloured drawings! Can't wait until I'm able to!

Wow! I really like your art! Your colouring has improved a lot in your latest piece of art! I really like that one! The one with the angel dude hehehe, I like the one with the two people sitting too (the guy with red hair(I really like his face especially xD) and the girl with black hair and ears xD I think they are really well done!!! I am really bad at colouring my art...getting better though xD

From my understanding you have a cintiq? Do you freehand right into the PC with it or do you scan a sketch first?

I'm using a terrible Bamboo but using it feels like starting all over again with learning how to draw

I sketch directly onto my tablet (being that it's on screen), I used to scan in til I got used to it. Funnily enough, I can now use a proper tablet with ease when the whole reason for buying the Cintiq was cause I hated using tablets.

Been on super hiatus while working full-time and realised on Friday I haven't done any real art since December. So heres a wip on what I'm currently working on. I will definitely be adding better clouds and will refine some detail to the dunes behind the characters.
