Screen Problems, help pleeeeeeeeas Options

hello guys

i have problem when i choose full screen my screen always is bright and shade direct !!!?

someone tell me what should I do ?

Did you tint the screen? Try it in not full screen too, if you haven't already.

Always when I choose full screen (bright and dark ) direct

First try F1 and tick "Reduce Screen Flickering" and see if that solve it.

If not, it's probably a video driver issue with your own system not meeting the requirements and not the software fault. Try downloading the latest version of directx and see what happens.

Does it work fine without being in full screen mode? If nothing else works play it in that mode.

Have you tried making a new project and checking whether its a problem with your current project or your screen?
If the new project runs fine in Fullscreen then its a problem with some configuration, events or whatever in your current project. Else, it could be a problem away from the RPG VX.

If that did not work then this is a problem with your monitor or machine. The system is not meeting the requirements, this is not a problem with the software.

The video card probably. But check if your card are really metting the requirements or not.

well mate this happened to me well similar but in another game..I think it was GTA san andreas well here is what I did I just updated my driver for the video card and all went smooth so try that out and let me know otherwise

Which system are you using? If you are using Windows 7, do this:

Go into your compter (usually a little icon that is a monitor) and then (if you are using Windows 7, but it should be basically the same in XP) and then click "System Properties" on the top left corner of the "computer" area. It'll bring you to a page that should look like this:

The part in red ( & ) is your systems' specs. If they don't match or go higher than what is required of RPGXP/VX, then you will need to udate your PC with actualy graphics/videos cards and RAM.

And then, on the bottom left you will see the underlined words (underlined in red) click that. If your score is low, or if there are some missing in the video graphics part, than it is your PC. Try to rate your PC and then update your drivers. You know how to update your drivers, right?

If you are still having trouble with updating your drivers, I can try and help.

Also, what are the specs of your PC? Do they meet the requirments of RPGXP/VX? What kind of video/graphics card are you using? How is your monitor set up? To check your monitor, go to the control panel of your PC and then click "DISPLAY" and see if you have anything not set up correctly to fit y our monitor. OR right click your desktop and go to "Screen Resolution" and then set it up correctly.

Have you've tried to update your drivers? Or see your screen settings or monitor settings? Follow the above and it should help you.

So basically to fix this problem (if you are using windows XP) go to your desktop > right click > properties > settings > advanced > troubleshoot then simply turn the graphics acceleration to a lower amount (try each and run a game in full screen to see which one works best for you).
