"The website at www.rpgrevolution.com contains elements from the site www.ientry.com, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.
For detailed information about the problems with these elements, visit the Google Safe Browsing diagnostic page for www.ientry.com."

Yeah, what's up with this?

No idea what's gong on but it seems to be coming from ientry.com. I couldn't find anything on our domain but ientry.com redirects to that. We've emailed them about it so we'll see in the morning, I suppose.

Don't expect them to do anything about this, they know, it's their network. This is what they do.

We have sent them all the info regarding this - until they return to work tomorrow we will have to wait it out-

The forum itself is fine as is the main page - it is just i entries corporate page.

Yeah, I'm using the Chrome browser and it warns me and has to say "I accept the risks" before I can even go on the forums.

I would be very careful. Google reports that a600.com has infected xbox360forum with malware - this is via advertisements on their website much in the same way as RRR has. I don't mean to be dramatic, but make sure you have virus protection before coming here. (It shouldn't be a problem really if you have good antivirus software).

I get the same on Chrome- however

Firefox and IE no probs- and avast is not screaming at me.

As Wyatt pointed out - just have really good anti virus software,..( which to be honest everyone should have no matter where they are browsing = this forum or any other... Todays safety announcement....

There is no great panic ..no need to run for the hills ( if there was I wouldn't be posting here believe me)

The moment we get feedback from i entry we will let you know..

The thing we have to remember here is this is not IEntry distributing Malware Ientry hosts lots of websites and they cross-link with lots of advertisers that display content all over their network.

This is more symptomatic of an issue with how many legitimate websites are becoming filled with crap without even realizing it.

I remember many years ago working at AOL and AOL was advertising for bonzai buddy which is not only buggy but technically considered a malware / spy ware as well as it monitors your web browsing habits generates reports and sends it back to bonzais headquarters. Then ads advertisements to existing pages.

This kind of thing can happen anywhere at any time I'm sure IEntry will fix it as they don't benefit from Google chrome nor Google searches suggesting people not to visit their sites.

I will personally call their IT team on Monday if we haven't heard back from them on the status of this by then.

If your using Firefox get the noscript add-on it's free and can be found on firefoxes addons site

second theres many free antivirus programs like AVG

Also theres many free spyware scanners like Spybot / IObit security360 / Adaware <-- i use all three

also You might have antivirus and not realize it and/or not be taking advantage of it.

These days most internet service providers provide full copies of programs like Mcafee Anti virus to thier members as it's in thier best intrest to keep your computer in good health too so you continue to use thier product. Call your internet service to find out what tools they provide free

I personally use Mcafee and many companies have deals that can get thier existing members free subscriptions to mcafee for example I got one year free Mcafee from bank of america just for using bank of americas online banking which is a free service anyhow.

Great question glad you asked ... I'll probably edit this post later to provide links to the companies I mentioned.

Now keep in mind if any of these tools do find anything don't be like OMG it's RRR's fault, cause theres no telling where the stuff came from
.also Tracking cookies come from all kinds of websites even google..

A recent report I believe stated that something like 90% of all computers world wide had some kind of spyware malware tracking cookies or all three on them. That's like everybody. biggrin.gif even me I have to regularly scan my computer to keep it in tip top shape.

Avast is free

Just dont get Norton it slows everything down-

How come i don't get a "Hi"

Tha main IT guy is very good at answering his messages- so hopefully we won have to call- but as you can see all the staff are on the case with this and one way or another it will be sorted.
