> How to slow the hero on world map?

Hi guys,

Don't worry, I will not post every single problem, just a few. (managed to find loads of tutorials)

Anyhow, would it be possible for anyone to post an example of the script on how to do this?

Basically I want the hero, while walking on the world map, to walk very slow. As if the hero is actually on a long journey while on his/her way to their next destination.

However, for this slow walking pace to stop once the hero is off the world map and enters a cave, bridge, town, castle, city ect.

(I have already made 2 common events for off and on world map with a smaller sprite for the world map and a common event for the save point with sprite).

Well, the Move command in the event command list can change the hero's walking speed. I think you'd have to rig up an auto-start event on the world map that will slow the character and put one on each other map to restore their speed.

You can do that, or use a "Slow Movement Speed Hero" for whenever they leave town. And speed it up again when they arrive in a town, airship, event, etc.

Completed that task for my world map in my game for each cave, town, castle, city, village, forest thus far.
