Oceans Dream drawings/pixels Options

[Oceans Dream]

Need feedback/comments on these mountains. Not the mapping, but the tiles themselves. I just want to make them look as good as I can. Any tips/suggestions/anything is welcome. I'd make another topic, but I didn't feel like it just for this.

Wow, that look spretty perfect to me. Did you make that yourself??? I especially lik ethe grass, it doesn't look repetetive, like it doesn't look like the same thing tialed.

Yep, all me. I really want to see how I can fix up the mountainsides. I've had to change the grass like twice just to get it like that. Thanks! I think I'll make 3 more 32x32 mountain tiles, so there's more variety, and to try to fit it better.

I don't see any flaws except the edges of the little hills look a bit too straight. You might want to make them alternate. It's kinda hard to explain. I'll try and explain what I'm saying.

Have every other pixel on the side be a light green and the others be a darker green. Also make the darker green set 1 pixel further left of the tile. I hope that makes sense.

I get exactly what you're saying. I even had the upper tiles to do so, but I just forgot to put it on. Or I could do what you're saying, that would work fine as well. Thanks, I'll do that.

Y'know, you need to post flawed pixel art so I comment on the flaws. THat looks like it was ripped out of SD3. You have true pixel art skillz.

Heh, I think I draw too much inspiration from SD3. But I kinda need that style right now for the tilesets that I'm working on (which this tree is in).

I like the designs for the first set of weapons Some of the lines could be straightened up a bit or just less..uh... squiggly.

I'm not a fan of roses and weapons though.

Yeah, I'm kinda forced to work with a lot of mediums.
I've done Oil Pastel, regular drawings, charcoal drawings, Ink wash, Oil paint, Photoshop, Pixel art, and photography.

By forced, I mean I took classes on most of these things (except the Pixel art, anime, and weapon drawings). There are a lot that I wouldn't do, or would be too lazy to do if I didn't have to do it for a class.

I took some pictures of a stuffed cow eating grass, going to a gym, then going off a building and suiciding himself. The last photo of that series is of a Wendy's hamburger. My photo teacher has this project, so I can't show it to you until I get it back. It was all black and white.

Most of the other ones are taken with a digital camera, and most are from Portugal, I'll upload those soon. I have a few that are from El Salvador, like a photo of the white tower that I painted. These are all in color, I actually don't really like black and white.
