Is there a way to make your character walk through a transition, instead of being transferred. This seems like a major problem of a RPG making problem, since most RPGs do what I'm saying. Is there a script you preform?
Um... I don't understand really. Do you mean like having a transition come up and then the character is transferred? Or just changing the transition used to transfer players? I'm confused

If I understand what you're saying, then you can probably do effects like you want with no-fade transfers and oversized maps that show the edges of the new area in the old map.
However, because I'm just guessing about what you mean, I could be entirely mistaken.
Okay, make maps that are designed as if they overlapped by about eight tiles in every direction, and put no-fade transfers to move between maps. You can either put them on the pathways that normally exist, or just make one parallel-process event that tracks the player's X and Y.

There IS a script for this but i'll have to go and look for it. Basically you can make alot of small minimaps and then the script will hook them up so that it looks like one GIANT seamless world. There's no transition unless you want one, you can walk off a map and into another map seamlessly
