[RM2K3]Custom Text Boxes Options

I am going to be showing you how to do this with your text boxes!


Start off with a screenshot of your full view game. Press the full page icon next to the title icon. Test your game until a text box pops up. Then your press the Print Screen button on your keyboard.


Go to paint and crop off everything BUT your text box.


Add ten pixels to the top.


Put a name in the ten pixel you added on the top and make a random color (not in use in the text box) as the color you want NOT to show.


Import your picture, and then edit message box settings. Make sure its transparent, doesn't change location to better see hero, and that it is on the bottom of the screen. Show the picture at x=160, y=189(around there), and then just enter in your text!


For different names, just change the picture.

You can edit this as much as you would like to get the look you need.

The Neo message system is for VX (this tutorials is for 2k3), and \n[1] displays it inside the box.
Although, for VX or XP Id advise scripts.
This can also be used to make fancy effects with the image box.

Im wondering how people cant see the title and read even for a little bit ^^, anyway simple but usefull.

Wouldn't it be easier just to say the text and have the dialog on the dialog_box?
