So far, one of the biggest downsides people has had for IGM/AGM is that it only takes WAVs as its sound files. YIKES!

it should be noted theres a wav codec that supports mp3 compression in a wav though youd need to provide the driver install files with the game or have an installer go online and download it before playing your game

when if i find that Wav codec to do mp3 compression in waves I'll post it

I'd like to say that such free online services like solmire, hamienet, media-convert offer a very limited number of soundfonts and slow down conversion.
I use MIDI Converter Studio to convert midi files to mp3,wav, wma and ogg format. This program can process a bunch of files at once, you only need to drag and drop the files.

Agree! I spent a lot of time to free on-line converters and finally purchased MIDI to MP3 converter for batch conversion. Its work much more faster. 1 minute for on-line converter versus12 seconds for desktop.

Just use audacity. Easier then anything listed here.

For midi to Mp3, I reccomend using Cubase or fruityloops for superior editing options.
