Okay it didn't take as long as I expected but I've finished my next piece from the wip sketch above. I decided to call it: A Quiet Spot.

Once again I'm trying to get the characters drawn in a way which sort of clashes with their personalities.
Trying to get to grips with backgrounds and drawing emotional faces. Anyone like? Any C&C?

I ESPECIALLY love the latest piece that foot in the water? You've inspired me to try to draw something in the water using your picture as a reference cause it was drawn just that damn amazingly X3

@Homu: Thanks, though I'm still learning how to get a background there and not make it either stand out too much or make it look there at all.
Originally I had that foot just go into a heavy blur, and it looked like it was going into ice.

Here's a wip of Houkan, just done the line art and base colour. Been a while since I've drawn him so it was decent practice, plus I've got to keep going to get the other three characters done aswel.

Don't get me wrong, you're a talented artist and I like your other work, but I definitely love this character more than the others!

I think that you have succeeded in creating the proper emotions for this character's face!
(Honestly, it isn't an easy thing to do, but you've managed it.)

I would love to see you do a similar character some time. =]

Houkans almost catching up with Shukaur on popularity, there was a time when I couldn't really do expressions on him but I'm glad that it's now showing.

I've finally finished this picture, too a while to get the shading done. There's a few errors that I'd like to spend more time on getting sorted but I've got to get on with other things. Decided against doing a landscape background and went for a personality suiting one.

Wow... So this is the version I'll be using as my Desktop Background for the next few months, lol. =]

@Hirei- Thanks, I'm trying to work on poses at the moment as I always used to do a standing static pose, figured I needed to practice other forms.
@X-M-O- Glad to see you had the same idea as me XD I'm really pleased you like it that much, I hope to do more in the future that'll make it into that folder.
@Homu- I'd love to have him make a parody in your Alice in wonderland style picture, always wanted to do a collab picture with someone if you're up for it. I know we've got a completely different style but it would be interesting I think. Thanks for the continuing support as always Homu.

I've decided to post one like this so if there's anyone wondering how I set up a picture like this then they can hopefully learn how I've come to do one. You'll see my flow line and face structure lines, there's also a centre body line with shade points. Plus you'll also see that I draw the basic body shape before adding the clothes over the top in certain areas, and a check line going down and around the bottom just to make sure the tail will be coming from the right place

I think I'm going to have to move her eye and nose about a bit, and I know her weapon isn't straight XD Any C&C on improvements or suggestions for further art would be appreciated, who'd you like to see next? A group picture? A couple picture?

As for the next one I don't think I'll do a couple shot, instead I'm going to go for the whole party of six it may take some time though as I'm getting on with other things aswel at the moment.

Oh damn, i should've commented on it before you coloured it. That's really good, but her left eye is a bit too high in comparison to the rest of the face, i think. Everything else looks great though, wich program are you using?

Agh I'm gonna have to get round to fixing that cheers for pointing that out. I focused mainly on her right eye, I can't help but notice it every time I look now XD
I'm using Paint Tool Sai, as it's really nice and light (As in not clogged up with filters and distracting stuff lol ).

EDIT: Fixed those eyes as best I could, teaches me a lesson to think I've passed flipping an image Horizontally XD

If I hadn't seen where the pole ended, I would've assumed something else was going on. Haha, but it's good either way. Looks very official.
I like the jester, makes me think of green breath mints and an old game that I can't remember right now. The color is very smooth and gives it that realism feeling. And that I like very much. I know Holder's art anywhere.

Sorry for not replying sooner, I didn't realise there was any to be honest.
@X-M-O: ^^ Extra lighting is something that I've been trying, over the top of the final image. Normally I'd have just left it without emphasising it.
@Para: XD never thought of it like that. Wow thanks I didn't think I've got to the point where people would know my style just by looking at it, I know I've got a long way to go before I'm as distinctive as Homu with her art.
@Magitek: Thank you A lot of people have said he reminds them of something, I don't know what it is personally though I did come across something that may have influenced him: This, though I can't say for sure lol

Sneaky peak time for the group shot, I wasn't going to show any WIPs but I don't want another wonky eye situation especially if it ends up spoiling the whole image XD. C&C away, yeah it's smallish image and Shuakurs kinda nude for now.
