I'n not sure if anyone has said anything about this but when you buy more slots for your vault it lets you spend over 50k (im referring to demo) so like i spend 50k to buy 50 slot and then i still have 50k until i leave the band that is... how do u fix this?

I wrote the same but where is cmpsr2000. I wrote him 4 weeks ago and there's no sign of him yet.

I'm getting a couple errors, just from the Demo.


First one is this:


I got this when I deposited all of my items, then tried to deposit 'nothing'. [When I was all out of items to deposit I tried to deposit an empty space in my inventory and got this error.]




The second error is the same as the past few posts:


I got this when I first spent 50,000 Gold in purchasing 50 new storage boxes right from the get go in the demo. No money decreases from buying the boxes. Then I tried again could only buy 10 more for 10,000 Gold. Again no money decreased. Then after that I tried again and could only buy 1 more box for 1,000 Gold. That in turn gave me the above error.


Please help! sad.gif

It's explained on the demo. read the script. But anyways, it's like this

You put a new line like this
[3, 2, 1], 3- what type of item.

The format for the shop_goods are:
# $game_temp.shop_goods = [ [ITEM_TYPE1, ITEM_ID1, ITEM_LIMIT1],
# [ITEM_TYPE2, ITEM_ID2, ITEM_LIMIT2],

# ITEM_TYPE: 0 for RPG::Item

The 2 bugs noted previously really should be fixed. I know cmpsr2000 has been gone for a while, and I've tried it my self, but due to my limited coding knowledge, I could not make a working fix. Looking at the terms at the bottom of the post it would probably be ok for someone else to post the edit, just for a bug fix. If someone could fix the 2 bugs with storage or help me in doing so, I am sure we would all find this more useful.

Here's another bug (not sure if it's been mentioned but) I can buy extra storage boxes regardless of whether or not I actually have the gold to pay for it.

EDIT: Here's another bug: if you have a game with a double or triple letter abbreviation for gold (for example "Gil" or "GM") the loan window will place the highlight box over the extra letters instead of on the number amount. It's sort of hard to describe. Simply make your money abbrev. 2 or 3 letters instead of 1 and then check out the "Take out Loan" window.

Found a way to fix the problem:

Look for this line in Window_Bank_Number:
CODE
    self.cursor_rect.set   (x + <x-axis> - @digit * 10, y, <width>, WLH)
    @refreshNeeded = false
  end


Change <x-axis> until you get the right position along the x-axis, and width to change the width.

Note: This will not change the amount that the rect moves along the x-axis (which is the @digit*10" value. Try "10.5")

This thing is excellent, but I really am totally stuck at the mercenary and skill shops? heres what I put in for opening a mercenary hire shop(Actor buying)

$game_temp.shop_purchase_only = true
$scene = Scene_Shop.new(3, 0.8, 0.6, 1,
0.03, 0.1, 0, true)
And when I talk to him, I get a syntax error?

and when I use this for buying skills(Like magic skills)
$game_temp.shop_goods = [ [3,33, 1],
[3,39, 1]]
$game_temp.shop_purchase_only = true
$scene = Scene_Shop.new(1, 0.0, 0.0, 1,
0.0, 0.0, 0, false)
It says line 451 error? Script 'game_shopping' line 451: NoMethodError occurred.
undefined method '*' for nil:NilClass
451 price = (item.price * shopMarkup) + (item.price * shopInflation)
?? Please help, cause this script is awesome
Too bad it won't work with KGC_Passive skills

how do i call upon these..... like make them appear when i talk to an npc for instance could anyone please help me....

Nice but how would I go about just making a vault?

Uhh, I'm definitely new to scripting and all that, so just bear with me.

Is there a way to enable the "sell" command in basic shops?
In both the demo and my game whenever I create a basic shop, the "sell" command can't be selected and is darkened.

Maybe I'll just have to keep trying to figure out the more complex stuff =P

Otherwise greaaaat addon.

And just a suggestion for loans, maybe a simpler way (not worrying about collateral, since you could possibly sell the items before having them repo'd) is that if the loan gets out of hand (a certain percentage above the starting loan price, perhaps) that it just starts taking money out of your savings/ checking accounts or from your personal inventory, similar to the collateral idea. And also, maybe do what someone else suggested and only allow a certain amount of loans out at once.

I think I may have found a glitch (although this may already be known.) You can get the debit card, add it to storage, then get another one, and then sell it, and repeat the process.
