I kinda had a problem when using it. When a monster attacks me, it goes into error. Is there something wrong with it?

Oh... um, forgot that it needs a little something... 'Actors' to show on the screen.

You need at least 'Actor Battler Graphics' for now. I should add those method next time.

I keep getting an error whenever I use a skill that heals HP.

It's an error on line 80:

undefined method '-@' for "-1050": String

(The -1050 seems to change for however much I healed for)

I attempted to heal myself and I got an error. On this line:
CODE
text = -target.hp_damage.to_s

I changed it to:
CODE
@somevar = -target.hp_damage
text = @somevar.to_s
and it worked fine. I assume mp healing probably has the same error...

BUMP
to 3.0

Total new update feature and code mimicing RPGMaker XP's own SPRITE module. Thanks to Syvkal for reminding me about that. Works better than ever... and doesn't freeze the battlesystem as the popup bounces around.

In my demo perhaps? I'm using an animation system that permits a 'death pose'... which means you can see them lying in the dirt. I coulda replaced it with a comical tombstone or something.

This script works great but i have a question. The battlers appear in the center of the screen and the way i have my monsters placed for the sideiew battle system I'm using, they're literally right next to the mosters. Is there anyway to get them back over to the far right of the battle screen. Thanks!

No, it isn't. I just made a demo that combines all those scripts... sideview included. If you want, you can remove the sideview system ('all' those pages).

You're saying the actor battlers are appearing in the center? For your sideview? Rather odd indeed.

Though this isn't the topic for the sideview system, actor battler placement is automated by the sideview system to appear on the right side of the screen. It may be... if you manually put the scripts in rather than using the demo... that IF you put the 'Actor Battler' script BELOW AnimBat, it'll place them in the center. AnimBat is supposed to be below ABG.

Also, the formation add-on script should allow you to customize the placement of your heroes on the screen.

Thanks, but I'm still a bit confused, sorry to be a pain. I put the sideview battle script first so the actor battler/animbat thing shouldn't be a problem, and I do have the formation add-on, but they are configured to appear on the right side all lined up, but they still appear on the center/bottom of the battle screen all lined up. If It doesn't work, that's fine, but thanks for trying, I'm still not too skilled with scripting yet. Working on it. Don't know if this will help, but here's the battle system I'm currently using.

To Crandall87:
Eh? This doesn't affect monster battlers, or change their x/y placement at all. Placement is still governed in the TROOPS database.

To Bt255:
Claihm went RMVX? I translated nearly all his older RMXP scripts only to find his old site dead... literally (the site wasn't there anymore). I may have to look into that to find his new website.

The formation script looks about like mine too, so it (hopefully) has to be something other than the 'formation' script you're using. I'll take a look when I get the chance.

I'm using the same sideview system as Bt255, so I'd be interested in a fix for that problem too.

Figured out.

The order for the scripts should be as follows:
* Claihm's Motion Control
* Claihm's Motion Exe
* Damage Pops <------
* Claihm's Formations

That order allows the pop to show, and yet allows the formations system to control placement.

BUT.... Because Motion Exe (I think) adds material into the Sprite UPDATE method, Damage Pop didn't allow Claihm's sprites to disappear through a 'collapse/death'. I did a minor edit to Damage Pop that fixes it and works on all systems.

Now to version 3.1
