Ok, so this is going to be real easy. This will explain how to make a Mark and Recall events that you can use as skills, items, or both. If you are unsure what Mark and Recall are (...pretty self explanatory), using Mark will remember the players location, and Recall will take you back regardless of distance. This is how I have it set up for my current project. Let's get to it.

Step One: The Animations
You're going to need three animations. Find the Recover2 animation, copy and paste it three times. Name and change them as so:

Mark: Change Graphic 1 to a purple hue. SE and Flash Timing: Frame No. #01 SE Wind3 (Pitch 90%). Frame No. #02 Flash Target. Max out the Red, Blue and Strength bars and set the Green one to 85. Duration 35.

Recall: Change Graphic 1 to a purple hue. SE and Flash Timing: Frame No. #01 SE Teleport. Frame No. #02 Flash Target. Max out the Red, Blue and Strength bars and set the Green one to 85. Duration 35. Frame No. #14 Hide Target. Duration 100.

Recalled: Change Graphic 1 to a purple hue. SE and Flash Timing: Frame No. #01 SE Breath (Pitch 80%). Frame No. #02 Flash Target. Max out the Red, Blue and Strength bars and set the Green one to 85. Duration 50.


Step Two: The Common Events
Create two common events and three variables.

Mark:
@>Show Animation: Player, [Mark]
@>Control Variables: [01: MarkMapID] = Map ID
@>Control Variables: [02: Mark X] = Player's Map X
@>Control Variables: [03: Mark Y] = Player's Map Y

Recall:
@> Show Animation, Player [Recall]
@> Wait: 100 Frames
@> Set Move Route: Player (Wait) Change Opacity to 0.
@> Transfer Player: Variable [01][02][03]
@> Wait: 60 Frames
@> Set Move Route: Player, Change Opacity to 255.
@> Show Animation: Player, [Recalled]


Step Three: Using It
As what?

Skills/Items: Two skills, one Mark the other Recall where each one calls it's specific common event. Set the scope to none or it won't work. Do the same thing for items. You can create scrolls for example that can only be read once, or rings that can be used over and over again.
