I know I should probably know this... but I don't. How do you post pictures into a post? I thought I could use my Albums to link pictures into a post, however I can't even make a new album for some reason.

Click the fifth icon (the one of the picture frame) and then enter the image's url.

That allows me to post an image from a website. How would I go about posting an image from my computer directly?

You need to upload your images to the internet. We have a gallery here for resources, otherwise you can use gyazo or imageshack.

To use the "My Albums" feature, you need to be Revolutionary first (you'll need at least 100 posts to become Revolutionary).

Just go with what Rob suggested until you get there. =]
