I've done a basic CMS before in the past is there any pointers to give me some ideas or expand my knowledge on how to make something solid and fluent?

Not sure how useful I'll be but basically, keeping everything to a grid is a good idea, you end up with no unused space if everything is to set heights and such. Whether 32x32, 16x16, or 8x8. Know the sizes of the parts of the windowskin and such, and use that to build windows in the CMS that are say, 3 blocks high, 2 blocks high, and so on.

Yea I had that idea already in mind but still it's usefull to atleast hear it. I've seen a nice tut on making on and also a submenu. I hope that's not a bitch to get down :/ I'm patient so I think I'll atleast be able to take care of it rather quickly.
