Hey everyone I've been really getting into 8 bit music the last few weeks, and here is my newest project. freshly baked with 8 bit goodness and ready for your listening pleasure! Here's the youtube link because I havent had time to post it to my soundcloud yet but I hope you enjoy it, it'll be featured in a future megaman project I have planned, the soundtrack will be much more vibrant (but probably not better) than the classic 8 bit tunes we all love and remember from our blue bombing days smile.gif

Currently the only thing you are able to embed into a forum post is YouTube video (and images, if you consider them to be "embeds").
You can do this by using the [-youtube-][/-youtube-] tag (just remove the hyphens).

For example, this is your video:

I think the music sounds great, by the way; very retro. =D

Hi GuruKing. happy.gif
I believe this is the first time you've posted in this particular forum, so would you please read the rules prior to posting? =]
Here is a link to the rules for this area.

This topic is not meant for random music that relates to (or is) 8 Bit, instead it is Daven's "show" topic for his works. Posting here is allowed, however it is to be limited, so check out the rules for details.
Thanks! =D

Mega 8 Bit: Track 1 - I love the flow of this song. It's pretty damn awesome!

It reminds me alot of Pushing Onwards from Souleye. Which is great, as he's my absolute favourite 8bit musician smile.gif. Check out his stuff if you're in need of inspiration.

Looking forward to hearing the next one!

Hey man I'm more than happy you dig it, I took that section you happened to like and made an entire song after mashing it up a bit. I uploaded it with a screenshot of some original robots I worked up.

For now its set for a select screen theme. but like I said before the music I'm making is alot more vibrant compared to some of the classic megaman tunes and well ... thats because its an RPG! smile.gif
this track was produced and mixed soley with headphones so it will sound alot better with them!
(and might sound like poop without them, just throwin it out there lol)

Mega 8 Bit Track 3

ps. yes i know one box is empty at the top, I ran into an unfortunate case of writer's robot block? suggestions are welcome lol

I'm not sure what the theme of your robots are, or if they are just randomly pulled from the NES era. The very first reminds me... somewhat... of Raiden from the Metal Gear series. In any case, if you've ever played Snake's Revenge, you'll know that Big Boss returns as a cyborg. You could use him in that blank spot.

I absolutely love it! ^^
It ends a bit abruptly, but I was enthralled throughout. =D
(It doesn't sound bad without headphones, at least not with my speaker set.)

Oh, and you could always go with a ghostly version of a robot, lol.
