i am using a class system in my project that is based on variables. though i cant seem to figure out how to stop the event once it have run once without changing the variable. i use the variable to store the amount of innocent people my characters have killed. for every 4 kills the characters change class.

I presume it is a common event...if it is, then have it be started by a switch, and make the common event disable the switch in the end.

it is a common event. though it need to change the character`s classes when a certain variable contains a certain value. though i cant erase that value because it will keep going up, eventually changing the character`s class further. i tried your method and it seems to be working though only the class change message for the main character showed up. how do i solve that problem.

each character have their own events for class changes. all characters change classes but only the message of the first character shows up.

I understand, but a picture helps.
Use PRINT SCREEN SYSRQ and paste the saved desktop into PAINT or something then upload the picture.

i tried that but it didnt work. the message was that information on the clipboard cant be inserted into paint. you obviously still want a screen shot but my pc cant create it from rpg 2003. please help me without it.

@andreas: Problem is, without seeing your event, it will be difficult. You could try to use a program such as Gyazo to make a screencap or simply write inside your post the event commands.

main charecter? the main actor? the person your playing as?
i dont get it the system makes the actor,player, go up classes so like from
Knight to Spearman to Dualist
using a variable each kill so variable ALUXESCLASSLEVEL = 2
or somthing that would make that actor become that class
i have 2 questions for you
1. Is this called by an event or a item or in a map by an auto start event?

i use events to change the variable. though i have a problem with a music event as well. it got so bad that i cant move my characters while it is active. i most likely solved the problem with the other event so i will focus on the music event. my characters start on the world map and different areas of the world map have different music. the problem is that i cant get the music in the starting area to work. i only need it to play once so it fits in this topic. please help.
