I was just going by the seven-heads proportion thingie, lol.
So if the feet are literally right where the image ends, then it might be perfect, but I can't tell because I don't see the feet. tongue.gif

I got ya so then yeah it would be around that area. I usually use another piece of paper complete the drawing, so I'd know how long the legs should be. Again, sorry about that, I really should try drawing a little smaller than that. ^^;

Hmm..... actually... i think the feet should be somewhere around 1 to 1-1/2 inches off of the page..? 'o' ><

I don't really know how to explain that though, lol.." But i dunno, your legs are usually as long as your upper torso. 'o'

Yeah that's what I was thinking.
Updated time again! Time for a fan art^^

Something from a month and a half ago and was barely finished now This is someone who I've been wanting to draw for a while now: Krystal the fox from the starfox games. Though I wasn't too much of a fan of the games back when I was playing them, I still had much respect for Krystal, especially in Starfox Assault. ^^ So here it is: Krystal in her old adventures clothing. Her tail drove me crazy.. Now to finished my other drawing before art block strikes again! D:

Drawing © me

Krystal the fox © Nintendo and Rare

Edit: drawing keeps appearing and disappearing at the moment, I try and fix that shortly. sorry about that ^^;
However here's the link to the drawing for now until I resolve the problem: http://howsplendid.deviantart.com/#/d5dlz0i

Gotta follow you on DA happy.gif
I umm, can I ask you a question?
Do you really have to do the sketch first before drawing?

Yeah please do, I always welcome watches on DA! ^^

As for you question, I usually draw up a sketch as it makes it easier to draw up my character outline then I add detail afterward. You don't have to draw a sketch, but I would recommend it. Hmm...but wouldn't you be drawing a sketch anyways, since it comes before coloring?

Hafta admit, you doing a pretty good job here biggrin.gif I can't find anything to nitpick on smile.gif

If you want, i can tell you a relatively easy and fast way to color your sketches:

- There is very easy way to do so. I have discovered this way trough years of trial and error. What you might want to do is to download Adobe Flash (You can download Adobe Flash Portable absolutely legally free)
- Import your sketch on default layer.
- Create another layer above your sketch's
- Block layer with your sketch (press padlock button)
- Use "line" tool to trace your sketch's contours. You can bend your line any way you want with "selection" tool. Also you can freely chose size of your line. If you need to change line's color, size ect. use "Ink Bottle" tool
- After finishing making contour, fill it with color. Flash's filling is MUCH MORE CONVINIENT than photoshop's
- Export image and finish it in photoshop or whatever

If you need shadows:
- Create a layer above layer with contour and filling
- Chose line tool again, set some contrast color (i using bright red or acid green) and make contours on shadows.
- Re-select that layer so all contours you made shall be highlighted. Copy it.
- Past it in layer with main pocture (NOT sketch)
- Select last layer again and press "delete"
- Fill shadows
- To delete shadow's contours, just click on 'em twice and press "delete" button

Voila

Try it. It is much easier, funnier and faster than your coloring. I am turning my sketches in pics for maximim of 2 hours

And keep drawing! You're good at it!

Sincirely yours

Oh wow, thanks for taking the time to post this, I will definitely give it a try. Right now I'm using Gimp to color my drawing, so this should be interesting. Thanks again, I'm glad you like my gallery! ^^

Update Time!

Time for more fanart I suppose and it's more from the ds game solatorobo. I decided to draw one of the more main characters for the game: Lady Opera Kranz. This one was pretty fun to draw and enjoyed adding detail to such a lovely character like her. I'm hoping to put this into gimp soon, because I have great plans to turn this into a great digital drawing! ^^

Thanks as well, lato. The reason why I've been drawing more fanart, because I'm at a bit of an art block with my oc and haven't been able to come up with new ideas, so this is what I'm doing for the time being. Not just that, I'm also drawing more because I'm trying to practice in adding more detail into my drawings and characters from games or show etc. have great detail that I have to choose from. and also of course to have a bit of fun with drawing them ^^

Clean lines are indeed clean. Absolutely love her arms and hands, very smooth flowing and the hand positions are really good as well. I really can't find anything either to nitpick other than the angularity of her jaw compared to the smoothness of the rest of her body.

I think it's about time for another digital update on one of my ocs.

Finally finished this one after leaving half done for almost a month... -.- Something I drew a couple months ago and got around to turning it digital. I'm happy how this one came out, shading became a little difficult at a different lighting angle, but I did the best I could. I tried to experiment with the eyes a bit and got an interesting result. Hopefully I can begin experimenting with color mixing, contrast and the pen tool for shading. Shading by hand takes a while...

Lyra the Raccoon © me and me only!!!

btw, I am up for commissions if anyone is interested( I keep forgetting about this ^^; ) info is here: http://howsplendid.deviantart.com/journal/...-open-306848956

Great job making this digital! There are a lot of works you have that would look great digitally drawn/coloured, and here's proof. XD

Thanks a lot XMO!! ^^

I think its about time for another chibi update!

Haven't done any chibi drawing in a while, mostly for one reason: chibis are one of my my weak points However, I wanted a chibi Cindy anyways and gave it a go and got a damn good result. I think I may have found my chibi style! Kate once again wasn't going to make it in the drawing, but I drew her last minutes and was glad to see it came out just as well. I know there are things off etc, etc...but this was more of a fun doodle I had going on in my head. So here it is: Kate and Cindy duking it out against one another. I wonder what Alan would have to think of this? Maybe my next drawing will answer that question. ^^

Thanks XMO and here it is!

Time for another chibi update! ^^

Continued from the previous drawing

I really wanted to continue this with more chibi art =w= I guess Alan doesn't mind much about how Kate and Cindy handle things and seems to prefer his way of training, but it seems his punching bag doesn't like it so much. It's been a while since I've seen or heard sock'em boppers, but they were great fun back when I had one. Ah such memories. ^^ As before I know some things are off, but this was only meant to be a fun doodle. Anyways, I'm hoping to experiment with both panels of Alan, Kate and Cindy and see what scenes I can create.

Alan Walker © me and me only

Sock'em Bopper name belongs to its respective owners.
