Hi everyone, I will be showcasing most of the songs I've composed from my RPG. I have been composing for a solid number of years; I was on a temporary hiatus considering I've been on a heavy writer's block and been very busy with my life, but I'm finally getting back into it yet again and confident to say that the compositions are at a rapid growth and sound profound. Just a brief history about the music, the theme of the music is fantasy based with some elements of classical, folk, sci-fi and mystery. In terms of influences, if you listen closely, you could tell that my music is similar to, but not replicating, Final Fantasy games, and a selective few from LoZ (Legend of Zelda).
Note: Please do NOT take any of my material considering this is strictly going towards my game.
However, I have decided that I will be taking in requests from members who would like a theme for their game or what not. However, keep in mind that I will be very busy composing music for my game and may take some time for a request to be complete. So please, bear with me. '
No. of Requests
1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Five will be the maximum amount of requests I can take momentarily.

Hi everyone, not sure if this should be categorized under resource submissions, but I will be showcasing most of the songs I've composed from my RPG.
Note: Please do NOT take any of my material considering this is strictly going towards my game.
However, I have decided that I will be taking in requests from members who would like a theme for their game or what not.
If you were to place this in the resource submissions forum, you'd basically be supplying your music for everyone to use (for the most part, that is what the resource submissions forum is for), but since you're clearly not wanting those songs to be used by others in their game(s), then you're correct in placing this in the Art/Music/Lit Network. =]
Also, it is not problematic to allow people to request music from you in this forum, since you are also displaying your own music here. (Primarily, this is a "show-off" forum, where you show off your artworks; being in drawn art, musical art, or written art. So, as long as you continue to show off some music you're making, this is the place for your topic.)
white snow: A very calm theme, i feel like i'm on a snowy place (like a forest, or a road), its a very catchy tune.
Tails in fulls bloom: At the start reminds me to FF8 balamb garden theme, fits well on a "pacific" place, like a town, or a house, or maybe a character theme, i love this theme =).
Mystical Land of Magic: I dont know why, but i think that this song its a world map theme xD, or an important place theme (i imagine world map), its very catchy, good work.
Manacles of Broken Destinies: Again, this sound like a FF song (thats is great =O). Fits very well on a dungeon, at 1:18 its awesome =O, sounds like something bad will happen in any momment.
Eternal Sunshine: This theme reminds me chronno trigger's lenne square ost. Its a very happy tune, i like it.
Thank you mrhawi! Most of the feelings you get from listening to the music is nearly accurate to mine. You're right about most themes, Tails in Full Bloom is originally supposed to be a theme of sisters (my game has three characters who are related and I'm basing the theme off of the three sisters). Mystical Land of Magic is a magical village theme actually, but I haven't thought of it to be a world map theme, quite interesting actually. As for Manacles of Broken Destinies, you got it! It is a dungeon theme and one of the final dungeon themes too. It reminds me of FF also. Most FF games are inspirational to the music I write after all. I hope Eternal Sunshine doesn't remind you too much of Chrono Trigger. I did base it off of Lenne Square and from another song which I can't remember where I heard it from. lol
I'm working on another composition which has a dark and mysterious sound to it.

Wow your compositions are excellent, the best one out of all of them in my opinion is White Snow, it sounds so nice and calming then it starts to get more adventurous (not sure if I can explain that properly o_O). Also the beginning of White Snow reminds me of a song from the anime CLANNAD called Snowfield
Thanks a lot Shadyone, much appreciated! Yeah, I enjoyed composing White Snow and I have to admit, the composition does sound slightly similar to Saya Hyouseki's Freedom House 2nd MIDI:Town16 I'm thinking of changing the structure of the song slightly, but not a huge difference. I heard the theme Snowfield from CLANNAD, very well done. Gives me inspiration to do yet another song. Thanks for showing me Shadyone.
Hey all, sorry it's taken me ridiculously long to post more of my music. I've been hectic busy and re-arranging most of my song materials to give it more personality to it. I've added different soundfonts with limited techno/trance twist to it, in which I thought would add good chemistry to my game; here are some of the songs just to give you an idea of what I'm going for:
In Presence of Serenity: This theme reminds me some clasic rpg games like chronno trigger, secret of mana, and has some of donkey kong (i know that this is not a rpg), i like it, i feel like im on a crystal palace or on a snowy town.
Calming Blue: Wow, this theme fits great on a dream scene, or a flashback. I dont know but it reminds me to donkey kong country mixed with secret of mana (like the previous song), when i listen it i feel very relaxed.
Cloaked by Nightmare's Wings (Theme of Genoviaska): Another great theme, with that church organ (?) sounds like a castlevania theme, i imagine a castle or some place like a gothic city or something like that. I dont know why but the song "the castle" from FF8 started to sound on my mind. This is another masterpiece dude, i love it!.
Mystical Land of Magic: I think that you really like the ost from chronno trigger, because this theme reminds me that game. I liked it, i imagine an island or a secret place with special people (old wizard or something), title fits perfectly with the song =).
Traverse Through Deserted Sands: This tune reminds me some FF (and has a bit of separation anxyeti from snes), i can feel some of megaman ost (i dont know why) mixed with castlevania, the style of the song makes me thing about a piramid or a desert, that means: The title fits perfectly =), i loved that "techno" (?) sound =).
Recollections of Destined Shores: Loved the reed (i dont know if that is the name of the insturment), i imagined me on hawaii xD. It reminds me some adventure island (from snes), i like how the strings sounds behind the principal melody, this is my fav of all, and like the other themes has some of secret of mana, around 1:30 i feel nostalgic... man you are a master, this is a masterpiece =)-
All i can say, you are my new idol, i really loved all of your themes, has that clasic feeling of old school RPG =).
PS: Sorry about my bad english (im not good speaking it), but i hope that you can understand what im trying to say in each comment.
@Shadyone: Thanks a lot, I also like Calming Blue. It really is calming. Best of luck to you, too, with the music competition as well.
@mrhawi: Wow...thanks, I'm speechless! lol I didn't think my music would be THAT good considering you're quite talented. Hehe, is it really that obvious that I like Chrono Trigger OST? It's good to know that you find a lot of my music match with their titles, considering it was a little difficult at times to find the right tune to match with the title. Very interesting how you mention some songs remind you of Secret of Mana since Hiroki Kikuta is another one of my favourite composers.
1.) In Presence of Serenity - I really like how you used the Marcato strings and the harp. The piano chords are awesome. However I must say that the bird SFX were used a little too often between 2:13 and 2:28. I'm not sure if this was a christmas oriented piece...but the maracas sorta shifts it into a christmas tune. I'm also hearing the same constant melody, which I think should be divided into structures. Such as intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, and then outro. Each section can have different instruments playing since orchestral structures and actual song structures are different. Besides that, I like it.
2.) Calming Blue - Sounds amazing. The absence of the strings, piano, and the tinker bell were used correctly. Absence is not a bad thing when making orchestral music because it can make the piece span. Picture watching the Lord of the Rings and hearing the background orchestra span out over the course of a long scene. Putting instruments on pause, then introducing them later is a very key factor in creating orchestral type stuff. The tinker bell that comes in at 1:20 I believe, is awesome! I'm assuming what you're using is Sytrus for the SFX?
3.) Cloaked by Nightmare Wings - I can tell you straight off the bat, the intro sounded a little too overwhelmed by the church organ and what I'm assuming are piano chords playing at the same time? I'm not sure about the piano, but between the start and 0:08, it sounded a bit crowded. I would either reduce some of the notes that are played in each chord, or if the piano is playing alongside, scratch that out completely and have it come in after the organ. The melody you have going for the piano is really cool, with a follow up with the harp at the end of each clip. The outro is once again thriving off of the organ which sounds a little too overwhelmed, only portions of the melody though.
4.) Mystical Land of Magic - In this one, I would probably give the main pad a little more room to breathe. Here it seems a little too crammed together which sounds like its forcing it to go beyond the BPM of other instruments playing. But its really good though, I enjoyed it.
5.) Traverse Through Deserted Sands - In this one I think it's fine, except in the portions where the clarinet plays along with the main lead. The main lead sounds a little like something out of the matrix, while the clarinet is a woodland instrument...so the pair doesn't quite match. Besides that it was great,
6.) Recollections of Destined Shore - I really enjoyed this one! It reminds me of Destiny Island in Kingdom Hearts

@Spirit_Master_X: Thanks for the feedback Spirit Master X. I'll definitely take to considering the key points you've mentioned to polish up my compositions. I seem to somewhat lose track of my compositions and have the tendency to write leads rather than the melody first. -_-'
Hey all, came up with another song. This will not be going with the video game music pile solely because this song is a little unorthodox, but it is strictly more for listening to the VST rather than the composition itself. I will, however, take snippets from the song and use it in a totally different composition.
