Tax Script
Version: 2.0


Introduction

This Script allows the user to add a sales tax to items that are sold in a shop.
In addition, the user may use negative taxes, for discount shops.
The user can easily change the tax rate using call script.

Note: This script has been superseded link

Instructions

Place this above main, below everything else and it should work fine smile.gif
To use the sales tax:
call script:
$game_system.tax = TAXRATE

then it should work

FAQ

N/A

Compatibility

Should work with all custom shop systems, however the window that displays the tax/discount rate will probably not appear.

This script is great! It's simple to use, and now with this I can make missions about high taxes and such. In my game you're a member of the "Thief's Guild" (gives you memories of TES: Oblivion, right) and with taxes I can make illegal stores without it. Great job!

Sry im a bit confused, its a cool script but you said you can change the tax at anytime so whats the point of playing it when you can just change it to like no tax????? or am i missing somthing?

If you don't want no tax, then do use the script. Simple tongue.gif

After all this script is created to add tax rate, if you set tax rate to 0% better don't use it at all.

well no i mean the idea of a tax is really good i think it adds more to the game but what good is it if the player of the game...whoever it is could just change it? thats all im saying, im all for cool new script slike this just want them to be practical.

Nope, player can't set the tax rate. The one who make the project is the one that can adjust the tax rate. Like when the player is in Town A, the tax rate is 4%, then when the player is in Town B, you adjust the tax rate to 5%.

Actually that have in morrowind and probably TESI and TESII. I'll probably get your game though - if your putting that much detail.
