Go to the database and go to Tilesets tab. Find the set you are using. On the right hand side has all the options for the map. The default selection is Passage. This allows the character to walk on it or not. O means yes , X means no. Click to change it.

However, there is another thing to be aware of:

You can only, ever use the top-left tile to erase with.

Using any other tile will change the passability of the squares underneath it. So don't do it!

Okay, that sounds like you have an transparent passable tile on your entire third layer.

If you do, here's how you fix it:

1) Go to layer 3.

2) Select the Upper Left tile of the tileset. It has to be the upper-left tile-- no other blank tile will work, and any other blank tile will make things worse.

3) Run that tile over the entire map. I don't recommend the paint bucket, because you might have more than one transparent passable tile on hand. Try the Block tool.

Assuming that you've also set the passability of the tiles correctly, that should fix it.

It could also be on the second layer.

This is exactly what happened in my game. I tried everything but my player would always still walk through the walls. It's some weird and screwed up glitch. Try turning your computer off and turn it back on. If that doesn't work then you might need to make another map. What ended up happening with my game is that the map randomly worked again. Hopefully that happens with you. wink.gif

if you still have this problem, I'd recommend you re-construct the map, put what's 'walkable' on the first layer, walls/ground-rocks on the second, and ceiling (the dark coloured extra tiles)/wall additions on the third layer.
also, try these:
1) set the passability of the tileset's top-left tile to passable (a circle)
2) set it's priority to max (star5)
