So this topic is being made for one reason and one reason only; To recommend anime's. I have been torrenting and watching a LOT of them. It wasn't even two years ago my anime likes were limited to Death Note and Elfen Lied. Now I've expanded quite a bit and am looking for lots of good ones. I'm sure there's other people out there who feel the same way too. HOWEVER, please read the rules about posting in this topic before you go posting saying "Ooh i liek dis anime its called bleach and its cool and stuf." I don't want to see posts like that.

Format your posts like this.

Title:
Story/Short sysnopsis:
Screenies, if at all possible:
Links to watch it at: (Animefreak.tv usually has a lot of the mainstream ones.)
Important information here: This is whether it's available in Dubbed voiceovers, or Subtitled at the bottom, or both. If by chance it's available in both, then mke sure that links to both dubbed and subbed are presented. Any other important information should go here. (Like what? Use your imagination.)
Rating: On a scale of one to ten, rate how good it is and whether you feel it's worth watching. (Though if it's really terrible, why would you recommend it??)

I'll start off with a couple out of the way ones.

Grenadier.

Grenadier is about a war breaking out on a continent, a mercenary with a grudge, and a giant breasted gun toting badass chick. It is sort of 1600's timeline, with actual gunpower type guns, it is fantasy sci-fi in genre, yet at times bring out other genres.

http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/grenadier-e...bed-online-free

I'm pretty sure it's avilable in Subbed and Dubbed versions. IMO the Dubbed is actually quite good. Not a lifeless dub, that's for sure.

I haven't really finished it yet, but from what I've seen (It's only 12 episodes long I think) it gets an 8/10. It's full of action and stuff but until I finish it I can't say if it had a fulfilling ending or not.

------Okay, that makes one. Now for two.-------

Soul Eater

Soul eater is set either in a time very similiar to our current time, or just a slight bit behind/ahead of it. The technology is close, but much of the anime is about people wielding badass close range weapons. Set in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, the series revolves around 3 groups of each a weapon meister and a human weapon. Trying to make the latter a "Death Scythe" which is the highest title for a weapon and thus fit for use by the Shinigami, they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch. Although this is the premise for the series, it's really more about a bunch of totally badass fighting and even a few tiny romantic subplots. (Note that I said TINY. It's extremely subtle and not really about the romance.)

This image is really great. If you watch this series you'll be rolling once you see why they're making that face! ROFL.

http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/soul-eater-...bed-online-free

This series is available in both Dubbed and Subbed. Definitely worth watching dubbed though. Very good voice actors. Lots of raw emotion, IMO.

I give it a 10/10. Lots of action, LOOOOOTS of action, almost never stops. If it's your first anime, it's even better, so yeah watch this for sure.

All right, feel free to add your own contributions.

Pokémon.

Pokémon is about these little creatures that live in balls and do your bidding. It is a pretty fucked-up anime. They are used for beating eachother up in battles and are basically your little play-things. We follow our adventures with Ash Ketchum, an overconfident teenager (your stereo-typical hero in most cartoons) as he goes to the Pokémon League, where he fights the most talented trainers of all! He also meets some friends that have some serious problems along the way: Misty, this female who is quite ugly and has orange hair; Brock, who is this black man (at least I think he is) who has this captivating perversion to become attracted to any female he comes in contact with, besides Misty.

Above is the logo, and one of the most famous Pokémon of all, Pikachu.

I've never watched this on the internet because I've always watched it on the television thing. But I'm sure if you use Google you can find it, along with dubbed and what-not.

I rate it 10/10 because I think it is very entertaining and fun to watch. The story is so gripping and compelling that it makes you think, "Can't wait for the next new episode!" But don't worry! There's already like 5 seasons already made! And more are under production!

Animé Title: Saiyuki
Story / Short Synopsis: Demons are trying to take over the world, there is a group of four heroes trying to stop the demons. They are usually bickering amongst themselves, which is entertaining. They also like to kick a lot of demon butt and are usually very arrogant about it, which is also entertaining. =P
Screenshots: N/A
Links for Viewing: Sorry, I can't supply any links.
Information: I watched this on Netflix, it was dubbed in English. I don't use torrents, so I am unsure as to whether or not it is able to be found there. This is a comedy/action series with 60 episodes (if I recall correctly) and is enjoyable throughout the series.
Watch this if you are bored and want to laugh at something whilst enjoying some character development and interesting dialogue. The philosophies (arguably every film has them) are simple, though not specifically thought-provoking.
My Rating: 5 / 10 (I rarely give any series above a 7, so below 3 would be considered a bad series and 4 to 7 is good; 8 to 10 is godly.)

Title: Darker Than BLACK

Story/Short sysnopsis:

Season 1 is about a Contractor (a person with powers) named the Black Reaper working for a group of people called the "Syndicate". Through the course of the first season, we learn more and more about the Hell Gate, a giant Gate that appeared after the war in South American. The gate contains information about the Contractors/Dolls (Dolls are people who lose their sight and gain an ability like seeing where ever water is) and how they came to be.

Season 2 is about Hei finding the girl he loves who has been taken by the Syndicate. He ends up going to Russia and then back to Japan. I can't say much about season 2 without majorly spoiling it for people....

Screenies, if at all possible:

Links to watch it at:
Anywhere has it, but this is where I watch.

Season 1:
http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/darker-black-online

Season 2:
http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/darker-blac...o-gemini-online

OVAS (set after S1, just before S2.):
http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/darker-blac...a-gaiden-online

Important information here:
It is available in both sub and dub. The next season is being dubbed currently. I personally feel the dub is really good because its incredible amazing. The actors do really well. But both are good. smile.gif

If anyone doesn't like Pairings in anime, then I suppose you shouldn't watch. Hei falls for a girl named
SPOILER! SMALL THOUGH I SUPPOSE
Yin. I felt like I had to say this because normally when I mention that it contains pairings, I get called noob and stuff sad.gif

Rating: 10/10

Scriptless... TBH that's a very poor recommendation. If I google "Anime's worth watching" 99% of people who recommend an anime put that much detail into their recommendations and I'm never interested in watching what they recommend. You gave two sentences about it, and one of those sentences was three words long. Screenies give you an idea of what the show's artwork will look like when you watch it, and give you a general idea of the character design in general. Links make it easier for people to just click, check, and watch if they like it. If someone can't follow the (very simple) quidelines... I'd prefer they don't post.

Albino: LOL. Since this is Pokemon we're talking about, every person on earth knows what that show looks like lol so those screenies are acceptable. I'll bet you made them yourself too AMIRITE??

X-M-O, while you had no screenies, at least your story description was long enough to get me interested. You have no links, but if after reading your review I was interested in watching it, there's always google after that. Bonus points for saying how many episodes in length it is.

Magitek, very good review, nice job at spoilerizing the large images. Even I didn't do that much lol and I should have. Links? Check. Detailed description? Check. Your recommendation is just about perfect. And BTW that looks like a good show, I'll be torrenting it and watching it later for sure.

Edit: I noticed a lot of people are recommending demonic anime lol.

Welcome to the N.H.K

Genres: comedy, drama, psychological, romance

Themes: dark comedy, otaku

Objectionable content: Significant (bloody violence and/or swearing and/or nudity)

Plot Summary: Satou Tatsuhiro, a 22 year old young man, is a NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training) and a hikikomori (meaning acute social withdrawal). He believes everything around him is a conspiracy, including the reason why many people, himself included, become hikikomori. Due to this, Satou creates a strange conspiracy theory which includes the Nihon Hikikomori Kyōkai (NHK), a secret organization with the intention of producing a hikikomori filled world. Satou intends to break free from the NHK's clutches, but cannot, since he finds it too frightening to go outdoors by himself; that is, until he meets Misaki Nakahara, who selects Satou for her "project" that she claims will cure him of his hikikomori ways.

Indeed I did.

Bleach is available in both dubbed and subbed. However the episodes are only dubbed up until episode 167.

Rating:

It really is worth watching. The filler arcs do get a little boring at time but they still are really good and the actual main storyline is epic.

Meh, IMO, Bleach is awful.

Where should I start? Oh let's go along with the lazy internet user approach.
There's this amazing tool called "Google" Pronounced Gooh-gule, Along with Google come Google Images. With this tool, you can see images of the object, place, or person you have typed. You open a new tab, go to Google images and search. (I just tested it, it took 3 seconds oh my God, remarkable.)

Tough luck. I was suggesting a good anime for people who aren't lazy, like you.
If you have a problem take it up to me by PM. It was really immature to post it here, so I decided to act like a child too and respond the same way you did.

So without further to do, sorry for the inconvenience.

I r nao happy.

I'm not really one for cartoons - with limited and exceptional exceptions - Akira - Ghost in etc.

the woman unit however knows all about these things - If i could be bothered to take an interest in what she is into she would recomend this:
