Oh, and one thing I'd recommend for getting the perspective right on faces/profiles/etc. is to search for a model/mannequin/etc. on the internet that has the same/similar head and neck position as what you want to draw, and use that as an example/guide for drawing. (Just a tip that might help.) ^^
I had a horrible time trying to find references for their poses, some were a little help but not much. I'll give those searches a try though.

Finished the Winged Knight!
1 of 5
Rather like the design it has so I'll be making a series this way. So far it will consist of the winged knight, dragoon, sorcerer, and ranger, and grand knight. Have to have a female in there somewhere, and maybe an assassin.

This is a great resource that you might find useful specifically for anatomy poses and visual art. (Lots of links, even to books on the subject; just be aware that there are nude model resources as well, but that is common in art.) =]
I absolutely love what you've done with the wings - the colour is perfect, and the idea is superb! Very nice work. ^^

Thank you for the link and sorry for the late reply to it. I've been dealing with some mental things, so I'm trying to sort things out and keep up in places. Anyway, I'll definitely bookmark it on my computer for future use~
Have some new artwork updates!
Here's a fix on Rema's expression...

The samurai is really a nice piece of art - very detailed. ^^
Lol! I had to laugh at the similarity when I clicked on the link ^^ They do look similar with the red look going on. Thanks for the input~

when did you get so much better x: seriously the last few pieces you have posted are x100 better than anything you have posted in this thread ever
The black haired lady's face is awesome from the expression to the layout i cant think of really anything negative to say about the face
As for coloring make sure that you are using a solid brush around 80% opacity so that it isn't streaky. Right now you have all of these single colored midtones and they make the art look streaky
Second make sure you are using different hues for shadows and highlights. Shadows and highlights should not be the same color of the original hue; it should be more dynamic. For example for the samurai you might want to use dark greens for shadows if you want to add some more tension and contrast. Just mix the original red with the darker shadow to get midtones and then use those then constantly use the eyedropper tool and take the new midtones to block things out better. Things will look a lot more cohesive and stylized. Same things with highlights. The more dynamic you are with the color scheme the better you are at conveying a mood. Amd again make sure you are using a normal large brush with at least 75% opacity. Use the large brush to block out your simple colors and midtones and shadows and then work on the details. Things will turn out a lot less streaky.
Anyways awesome super awesome progress you wowed me! Seriously get the fuck out of here you must be cheating or something~ seriously you are an inspiration just keep going man shoot for the stars~

Thanks, bacon! I'm going to have to save your critique so I can remember those points later and look up on it. Since my coloring is very under par, I've been wondering how to improve it in different ways. Definitely going to put all of that into practice! Oh! Thanks so much for the compliment, too~ Wouldn't have improved without help from you and XMO ^^
Here is some new stuff I've had while I've been away (wish I could have put those pointers into practice on these XD:
!NSFW! Blood Companion (finished)
Added shadow after figuring out what it was missing XD A few other changes and lighting. Will need to improve upon such since it looks great when executed right ^^
Grim Alterations
The darker side to Genin and his alters O_O Don't know what made me do something like this, but I needed some gritty art to my collection~ Only thing is I wish I gave myself more room (no planning) and it might have come together better
Ghost
Will have to work on fading/distance/shadowing because I liked where it was going, though not intentional. Pretty much wanted to do a silhouette and ideas came from there~
Guardian
Thank you grunginess~ lol
