His grip on the weapon is a very poor choice regardless if it's for an offensive or defensive attack.

I suggest reworking the hands to give it an "in motion" look rather than a charging stance. Also, the cross guard should be ined up with the wrist closest to the top of the hilt. This keeps the blade angled properly for slashing strokes. And the hands should both be at the top of the hilt (offensive) or one at the top and one at the bottom of the hilt (defensive)

Other than that, this is a really great piece.

Kitten looks about that age. She's designed fairly well and has a "plain-Jane" outfit, and the flower is a nice affect that looks cute on kids. =]
Is she supposed to be in a game or something?

Her tibia looks twice longer than her femur, while the femur is the longer bone in the human body. Even considering a stylistic deformation it still looks weird. Colors are very good. Don't hide the hands, you lazy man...

Done. I think the skirt could use a bit of improvement but it's fine as is imo. For my first CG pic with Paint Tool SAI, I think I did 'iight. I purposely washed the colours. I'm not sure if the head is too big or if it's just the length of her neck.

I see you fixed the legs pretty good. The neck has problems with positioning and shape, more than the lenght or the head size. The shading of the nose look a bit weird.

Those are only small things tho, the whole picture looks amazing.

The nose is like a giant pimple on her face lol. I shortened the neck in an old revision but felt it looked too weird. Here's a flipped version which appears more interesting to me.

I could do a female counterpart down the line maybe lol. The Wings are decorative (ironic cause he's clearly dead) I believe, not sure. Either way I'm digging small wings compared to big large ones.
