Custom Damage Formula?, Not sure if this is the right place or not, it's been awhile... Options

Hey all, getting back into this game design thing again, and I'm looking for something fairly simple for those of you experienced with RPG Maker VX, just a simple custom damage formula. I want a simple formula for damage, like this: Your character's attack - Enemie's defense = Damage dealt. Sorry if I'm being to vague, but I'm not really sure how to put it in other words haha. I just hate the default system for how damage is dealt.

I don't know if you know, but since you're a Revolutionary, you can close your own topics.
Just click on "Moderation Options" to the topic's bottom and here you are
