Lol, Can't beleive you two would advertise here! Gonna make me cry.
RP is done now, get out!!!



Every time the group comes across something interesting (Monsters, items, etc), make a note of it in here so we don't forget.

So far, just an Unfamiliar (Low Quality) Banner with a Red Sword Emblem

And an armoured Zombie, probably a castle guard before dying from whatever killed him.
Not a smart enemy or too much of a threat either, alone at least.

Wow. Was gone for a day and already so much activity. I'll introduce my character in a dramatic fashion during another fight or something. Seems kind of late to do the traditional intro now.

We met Ivan who's been trapped here for years in thr castle. He knows some information but he stopped himself from saying too much. Maybe knows how to leave or other important info? Who knows.

Info we gained form Ivan are the following:

Rooms change positions so maybe leaving doors open will keep them in place?
The entrance will disapear when we leave the entrance hall or foyer. We're trapped.


The room we met Ivan in is decorated with paintings and shelves full of books.

We also gained a piece of paper with symbols/script from the door. They seem to be only unique to the castle.

Also Siegfried busted down a door. Hit first think later, yes?

Might want to do it sooner than later however.
It would be kind of awkward for someone who has been following a group of people around to suddenly speak up laugh.gif

Oh, don't worry. I've been following the RP. I know what's going on, though thanks for breaking it down for me anyway.

I thought I would introduce my character being an individual already inside the castle who happens to meet up with the rest of the crew. I'm just waiting for the perfect chance to strike. Myes..

Edward: Separated and alone.

Siegfried: Separated but with Lillian. Being challenged by Lao Fei
Julian: Separated and alone.
Westley: Abandoned with Janus in Ivan's room.
Lillian: Stranded with Siegfried.

According to Ivan they change when they feel like it. And what I mean is when WE decide it changes or our GM, Darkblade, wants to make our lives harder.

Though I wonder if you repeatedly open and close a door, will you be able to go to any room in the castle?

Technically we control the castles actions, within DBs parameters of course. I just used the door to put Julian elsewhere, for example, but it was pretty obvious the castle was going to do it (he had just walked into an empty room) we could have some interesting moments with this though. Theoretically the action can never stop. We can suddenly jump to any location, intervene in any plot, or, if we want, break off from it. It's quite original in so far as RPs go. I'm just waiting for two people to open doors on opposite ends of a corridor, and find themselves looking at each other. Like so:
A|_B-------------------------------A|_B

Now that would be mad.

Well, I assumed that the rooms didn't shift until you closed the door or something. I intended for Lao to suprise Siegfried and Lillian as he broke through the wall as they turned there back.

Also, you didn't misunderstand the post. I didn't intend for Lao to notice Siegfried, but this senario actually works out better. So... whatever. biggrin.gif

So yes, pretty much this.
The door that Zombie Guard came through should be considered broken, and so it can't change.
Which means the entrance hall and hallway connecting to it can't change either, that is, those two rooms will always appear together if you open a door and happen to encounter them.
The wall that Lao broke through could be considered the same as that door, so those two rooms are permanently connected.

but

there is still an undiscovered rule of the castle which may affect this.
I think Nicsp's character, Siegfried, was almost onto it, I don't know for sure based on dialogue and I'm not going to mention when or where.
We'll have to wait and see, but if you look over your charater sheets, you might notice something.
Its a big might. Its pretty vague.

Its true, feel free to use this to jump between places to speed along the storyline, otherwise, it would come to halt if you had to wait for me to say where you land.

Just don't you know:
