Tails in Full Bloom - A beautiful theme. It sounds a bit like a credit song. So conclusive and uplifting. This is soo godlike!

In Presence of Serenity - So serene, so, so serene! I like this. Especially the percussion section at 1:05! That sounds amazing! Actually, the whole piece is amazing :0

Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction - As I've sad earlier about this piece, it's badass. So dark. Extremely well-written. I'm glad you finished it.

I'm really liking your instrument choices in these pieces and the complexity of the percussion in some of them.
You are truly good at what you do!

As always, keep it up!

@mrhawi: thank you very much, it's always great to see you here and leave nice comments about my music. smile.gif Interesting how you hear a reference to Sephiroth's Theme from FF7 since that wasn't what gave me the motivation to write this song, this one actually came all on my own will so violently, so to speak lol. I'm glad you like this version though. happy.gif
Good to hear that the birds SFX worked with In Presence, I was aiming for that nature-esque sound. Thanks, even I'd love to hear the completed version soon, too, just too bad that I've been super-swamped with school work lol.

@Stern: Thank you so much for posting, Stern, it's always a pleasure to know what your thoughts are about my songs. happy.gif Hmm, I never thought of Tails in Full Bloom to be something of a conclusive piece, to some degree it kind of does sound like it would fit the credit roll, but I'm leaning this one towards a theme of three young, inspiring sisters who I feel the players would eventually grow to liking the characters due to the arduous and perilous quest they go through and as the game would progress, the sisters would become closer as well. My explaining it is a pale in comparison until you play the game, though unfortunately, there won't be a full release anytime soon, but expect to see a demo in the near future. smile.gif
Yes, I really like In Presence as well, turning out to be one of my favourites. It's not quite finished yet, but love where I left it at so far and have an idea of how I want to finish the song. wink.gif
Haha, it is badass, thanks, I'm glad that I have finished as well and pretty satisfied with the end results.
I appreciate you thinking that I am good at what I do, always have room for improvement of course. happy.gif

So I finally have a submission done, albeit, this is NOT part of my Fatelian Story project but done for an R3 member, Lato, who is working on his up and coming project, Kingdom RPG. The project is based off of Roman history circa 600 A.D. era, so I decided to write a main theme that would not only fit in his game, but the timeline of the story as well, and this was the result I came up with:

'Kingdom RPG' Main Theme

I hope you like this piece as much as I have. smile.gif

Oh wow, I didn't know you had been working with Lato on his game's music. He's got a great project going, and you did exceptionally well on this theme.
It certainly matches the period, and it's not boring or stagnant like a lot of Roman-era music I've heard recently. ^^
It's quite regal in many places, and it ends with excitement. =]

Thank you so much for your comment, X-M-O! happy.gif Well, this is the only song I've written for Lato actually, I would have done more compositions but he seems to have enough, though I am helping him with some spriting since, you're right, he has a great project going.
That's good to hear that it doesn't sound so stagnant or tedious since that was something I wanted to avert from especially considering I have much respect for Roman history.
I agree, the song does give off a feeling of regality, probably the part what showed the most of it was at the climax and then eventually descending into the conclusion. I'm glad we're on the same page here. smile.gif

Just finished writing another song, rather this is a cover song from Square-Enix's Chrono Cross, Garden of the Gods. I wanted to write this composition just because I liked how the original composition was written and wanted to show how well I write cover songs, besides, this is the first cover song in ages and haven't uploaded any on here other than this. But anyways, hope you like it:

Garden of the Gods (Chrono Cross)

I've never played Chrono Cross, but it's melodious! ^^
I really enjoyed your version of it, and I think you did an excellent job with working with the original composition. =]

I never played Chrono Cross either, so I can't judge the piece in comparison to the original. But, si ply based off yours, it's a nice piece and you did a very good job covering it smile.gif Simply a choir and a harp making such a soothing, yet slight mysterious tune.... love it!

As for the Main Theme, that one is good as well. One thing about it though is that I felt the drive took a bit too long to kick in. The brass coming into 1:15 was quite badass, but left me yearning for a litttlllleee bit more. I honestly think it's the lack of percussion (snare and such, not bells and whatnot) until around the 2 minute mark that has it me craving. Other tings crossed my mind, like some sort of semi-consistent low drone to fill the bottom (as opposed to the low brass and contrabass, which are low but relatively staccato) to give it a little bit more gaul. But, I think te lack of percussion there is what caused it. When the it all does enter, it's very good. I just wish it could have started ( not in full swing mind you, I understand you needed room for the climax) a touch earlier. Other than that, good job!

Wow, epic cover. I don't remember this theme, because I played chronno cross long time ago... But I like how you improved the melody, and the feeling that you put on it. Good work, now I'm gonna play Chronno Cross again xD. Good work =). Looking forward to hearing more songs, keep up the great work.

P.S: My English is not very good, sorry about that xD.

So thank you everyone for commenting on my previous subs it's much appreciated. Been a little while since I've managed to come up with something else considering I'm S.W.A.M.P.E.D with school! I did manage to write something a little more interesting and has nothing to do with my video game music, in fact, it's an older piece gone electronic lol. Anyways, thought I'd post it up on here to show that I'm stretching my imagination in composing music. Let me know what you think guys. smile.gif
Peace.

Wow, nice title for a song. There are some RPGs that uses that kind of sounds on their OST. The melody reminds me to golden sun's OST mixed with FF. I can put this song on a desert or something like that. As always your work is awesome, it's another style of music but it's pretty good, sometimes we have to try new things to improve, and I can say, you've improved doing this track. I'm looking forward to hear your next song, bye =)

Traverse Through Electronic Sands (Electronic Mix) is absolutely amazing! I love the way you converted that older song into an electronic mix, and it definitely came out well. ^^
I like electronic music because of all the quirky sounds and such, so this was an instant favourite! happy.gif

I'd love to hear more like this, for example older songs that you've written that you convert into an electronic mix; it'd be great! =D

Looks like the cat's come back from the dead and holding a bag of goodies to boot, did ya'll miss me? I ain't going away that easily, besides, I still have eight lives left to spare lol :3

So, for starters, I have touched up and re-released some of my older materials though I am only going to provide a limited track set since I don't want to spoil too much of how the music is going to sound like in the game, AND...I also have two new songs posted up on my soundcloud profile and more to come! happy.gif

In its respective order from older to latest releases:

Apparation of Abysmal Lament
Recollections of Destined Shores
Memories of a New Legend ~ When the Story Unfolds ~
Night Skies and Fireflies
Grievance of Terminal Souls

Hey, just re-releasing a song that I feel could have done some improvement on but now feel this is a much better composition and changed up a couple of soundfonts as well as arrangement of the composition. If you have an acquired taste for classical and metal, then you'll love this piece. Check it out! wink.gif
