Thanks for the tip. Sneaky of you to hide those boulders there. Now I can't get the last piece of driftwood or the last chest in the upper right corner of Doolig village. I think I need Wind Focus but when do I get it? Armageddon, er, Armadillo, er, Armegmus is level 18 at the moment. Thanks again.

Did you check inside the Trading Co. for the driftwood? =) (And just so it doesn't drive you crazy, you're spot on about the chest in Doolig...you'll have to come back for it)

I found the errant piece of driftwood -- I just hadn't explored all of the areas. OK, on that chest -- I am pretty sure I'm going to have to do a lot of that later in the game. Thanks so much. I really love the game -- quite entertaining. I have had to scratch my head a few times over the puzzles.

I have pretty much come to the conclusion that you are one evil dude. I am now trying to get past all those soldiers and my timing kind of sucks. I keep getting caught ... But will soldier on. laugh.gif

Glad to hear you're on your way again.

Call me crazy, but that's something I always enjoyed in rpg's...finding a secret that I didn't have access to right away, and keeping a notebook or a piece of paper on hand to jot it down. It feels satisfying to cross the items off your list later, at least in my opinion =). And the head-scratching puzzles...that's a good thing, right? I'm thrilled to hear you're enjoying the game, and I look forward to hearing back from you again.

EDIT: Just read your most recent post as I posted this. I'm not sure when you downloaded the game, but I posted the newest version on Friday night, which makes it so that if you're caught more than a few times in a room, it starts giving you the option to fight the guards. If you have a minute and the interest, you could download that version and carry your save files over...it may also lessen some future frustration in a puzzle I altered later on. Now would an evil dude have suggested that? =) Enjoy.

No, an evil dude would not do that. ;-) I will try the one I had the most trouble with and if I can't get through I will download the new version. There were a few times last night when I would have preferred to fight but I got through some of the rooms. Will let you know how it goes. Thanks. Oh, and yes, the head scratching is a good thing.

I am trying to break the lock in the warehouse in Dagron. Let me get this straight ... the puzzle completely resets after each attempt?

The pendulum is pretty much swung back to you being a totally evil dude. Nayrin Ruins. Room full of switches. No clue. Need I say more?

Is this the ruins east of Dagron across the sinking sands? If so, check your inventory -> special items

Wow, you've done it again. I have the faded scroll for the Nayrin Ruins SE of Noor. Got through the first door but now I can't seem to understand the clue for the second. 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12. And the thing with the brothers -- what?!?

I'm happy to help out if you like, or I can let you stew over it a bit longer if that's what you prefer. The important things to remember are that it is optional, and that you will be able to come back to it.

Yes, but if I come back to it will I have more information? I will stew over it a bit longer. There must be some pattern or something. I will let you know. And as for being optional, so were all those locked chests and doors but I worked on them anyway .....

Hmph. Got them. I went to my husband and resident math wizard for help on those two doors and after analyzing the sequence to death he came up with the answer. I actually got the one about the brothers myself. He says to tell you you are twisted and evil. :-) This game is great!

That's great news! (Especially since I was never going to tell you ;-) But I never doubted you for a minute.

Be sure and tell your husband thank you for me. (My wife said the same thing about me when she was playing)

And thanks.
