I took a look at that Mercenary System and it's pretty decent, but if I may give my opinion, I think you should add something like a "cancel" button and maybe a fee to hire a Mercenary? I don't think anyone works for free . Either way it's a pretty decent system.
It is your cost system/shop. You're roughly saying 'You HAVE to be nice to me or you wont get squat' to 'earn points' to 'buy' a event from you? No one else here does such, this is the ONLY such 'shop' here and it's a little redundant. People would rather just ask for help on the forum or go to someone else offering requests then have to build up points in order to ask from you. After all, that IS the point of this forum, to post your own topic and ask for help, not expect to have to earn points to 'buy' one off someone.

You have 8 posts here at the time, and are demanding to be 'paid' for our work by points people have to earn from you in order to get something with out really much to show for how well you can do thing's.

totally agree's i wanted to post something to this matter but i figured its none of my business how u want to do things i figured you would have learned from the possible failure :c really though ur kinda new mr, and we cant really know what to expect from you maybe if u had an event that combined an awesome script into it and u posted it here (though idk if it would count as an event) then you could probably charge karma or whatever u call it but from what we see in the events you have shown their isnt much to show for :c What u can do is exactly what she said is stalk the forum or post some events at random ones that might be useful to somone D: i was actually waiting for the event based battle system to see what it had to offer :3

You're not getting it. Even lilcooldude69 pointed it out, and pretty much said the same thing I did, and I find it amusing you gave him points for telling you the same thing I did, making me think you ignored everything he said and only saw the very last line of his post... and ignored mine for that matter.
No one here does a shop system thing to take requests, it's not needed. You're the only one doing such, so yeah, no ones really going to come by cause you ARE saying people -have- to be nice and comment only positively on your work in order to gain these fake points to 'spend' to get an event out of you. You're wondering why no ones posting and asking for events? That is why.
RzrBladeMontages's post also had nothing to do with this, yeah he commented on your one event system, but he does that for a lot of people. That's nothing new, hes an event designer himself and also a mod here.
There is just no point to try and charge anything to make events for people, not cash, not points, -no one else does such- and as soon as they see you doing it, there going to pass you up for either making their own topic asking for help, OR asking one of the many MANY others here that ask for nothing to make an event system.
Again, you are the ONLY ONE trying to 'sell' your events by trying to make people earn your points before they can request anything from you. Look at the forum your in, it has people submitting events, as well as asking for help/requesting them and anyone can jump in and take their request, as is what this forum is meant for. Not for trying to abide by someones silly made up shop system.
Plus, again as lilcooldude69 and myself have pointed out. You are NEW here, you don't have much up to show what kind of eventer you are, what all you know. You're better off just looking around the forum and finding people requesting events or asking for help and offering to take those and help them. Not make them earn your shop points.
Why would people want to go through the trouble of earning points before they can make a request from you, when they can just make their own topic (as the rules even state to do) and get someone to help them with out any silly made up fee? Thats why you see ass the [Help] [Req] and [Sub] tags in the posts around here.

So again, his post had NOTHING to do with this. NO ONE HERE CHARGES ANYTHING TO MAKE EVENTS. You are the ONLY ONE and trying to turn a comment by RzrBladeMontages about your only EVENT system posted and twist it around to try and and defend why you're trying to do something like this is only showing your lack of care and respect for people.
So yes, EVERYONE HERE WORKS FOR F-R-E-E it's not that hard of a concept. LOOK AROUND, take 5 seconds and take a look at the fourm your in. Look how many posts are here, how many are asking for requests, how many are answered FOR FREE with no one charging or making people earn stupid points to buy events off them.
I tried to be nice about this, but now, clearly ignoring whats being typed, obviously not reading anything, just making yourself look bad. No one is going to come here or want anything from you with a pointless shop system like this, when they can just post their own topic asking for help and get that help from any number of members here, with out trying to charge them anything.

@Taiine and lilcooldude Just because someone has a "shop" for events doesn't mean it's a stupid idea and they shouldn't do it. Everyone has a right to do what they want, an event shop included. If person A is nice to person B, and Person C is rude to person B all the time, Person B is most likely to do something for Person A before they do something for Person C, which is basically what TAOD is doing, and I'm sure no one has a problem with what he's doing. Maybe after posting a few more demos of his work he would get some "business" but either way what he's doing isn't against the rules. There's no need to be rude to him, especially because you said he IS new. Cut the guy a break.

what would you do if you were on a forum with nothing to show for but wanted to contribute to the community?
Same thing I did here when I was new? I read the rules, see whats going on in the forums, see how OTHERS have done thing's and follow along. He was already complaining cause he was getting a lot of views and no posts, well, I blatantly told him why, that no one else does a shop, and most (if not all) just post their own topic asking for help rather then the 'you must be nice to me to get anything' game as shown in this topic where you well, HAVE to be nice to him and comment on his one event system to earn any of his points, where as any negative or real criticism on them earns you nothing. THEN be able to try and buy anything with whatever amount he chose's to give you? Plus then twisting around a mods words? That there to me is just a show of disrespect.
Plus he has, one system up.. you comment on that, then what? There's nothing else to comment on to earn any other points less you want to keep praising him over and over again about his one system until he opts to post another.
I would pass something like this up to in favor of well, doing what everyone else does, make their own topic asking for help and getting anyone to come in and help with out playing some silly game or have to earn anything before you can get said help.
I wasn't meaning to be rude or mean, but when it's clear hes not reading anything or even attempting to grasp what's being said by more then one person and rather then take the advice given he instead twists the words of another... this whole topic just screamed 'I want lots of posts and become popular right off' and that's not the way to go about thing's.
@Taiine You say you weren't trying to be rude or mean but it's quite obvious how rude you were being in your above posts, please refrain from doing that in the future. There were plenty of other ways to handle the situation instead of harassing TAOD about his shop; so please think carefully about what you're typing to other members.

, however...i just thought he might want to get well known n stuff before he goes around charging cuz i mean your not gonna go buy a computer that says i am really fast and its the first on the line out their compared to like hp or alienware or dell that says they are really fast when they have many other computers to show for if that makes sense :S.....to conclude my point, dont expect alot of traffic at first but hey if you wanna keep this up go right ahead dont let my input change how you feel just trying to help ze new peeps out
