Welcome hardy folks. Tis time for me to do other things than just poetry, and I have been writing play books; a story written in play form.
I will be starting a new one here and many updates will come as I add the chapters, anticipation crawling down your spines already I see?
As the topic already tells you the name of the play will be Plane Of Terragard. Now, to clear little things up...I just made up the name of the play on the spot as I started this topic. Second, I have no story plot. Third, I make it up without deep consideration to cliches and things that are "SUPPOSED" to happen due to the genre name etc, etc. And lastly, I may decide to add polls in my posts. Maybe, so we can decide the fate of these poor fellows, hehe. Well, maybe. I will decide later on.

Now...for the story plot.
Character Names:
Galth~Male
Nina~Female
Arthus~Male
Degor~Male
Layli~Female

I however cannot tell you of their personality...not made haha
Such awesome writing skills huh?

Lets start now with the name of Part 1...

Fog Risen

Now for the story itself...let us begin.

Seeing as there was no votes and this topic has utterly failed...I will add more tongue.gif
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Part 1: Fog Risen
[size=1]In the Valley of Dento, five travelers off to find a guild to join. They were all friends of course. Though the lot had problems with each other once in a while. The fire flickered off their faces revealing many moods yet only one was truely present.
Galth: I can hear the goblin cries nearby.
Layli: Yeah...we should keep the fire low then.
Degor: Hah, burn it bright and wide! We can take those goblins on. Their skin will also pay for quite a nifty price.
Galth: Indeed, what about you three?
Layli: I don't know...
Arthus: ...go ahead
Nina: That does sound quite good!
Layli: Shh! Stop yelling...they'll find us.
Galth: Aye, we need to get prepared then.
Degor: I'm ready, all I need is my sword.
Nina: I have all the salves here!
Arthus: I'm already prepared.
Layli: Yeah, oh...I just need a few things.
Galth: Runes?
Layli: Yeah, well. I have some now.
Degor: What are we waiting for then, lets go!
Arthus: Fool...
Degor: Excuse me, I'm not a fool.
Galth: Stop fighting okay. We don't need that attitude on the battlefield.
Arthus: He's right you know.
Degor: After this, we are going to have a duel. You hear me Arthus?
Arthus: Sigh...whatever
Nina: Jeez you two, lets go already. Quit the mumble jumble already.
Galth: Alright, don't forget to put everything in a safe place in case robbers appear at this campsite.
Layli: Oh right...I have this spell, it will hold things in a stored dimension.
Layli pulled her wand out of her sheath and closed her eyes as she chanted under her breath with chilling other worldy whispers. A dark circle of glyphs appeared before them all as it expanding into a chest.
Layli: Phew, okay. Put your bags in here.
Arthus: Thank you.
They all place their bags in the chest as it closed and vaporized into thin air and small magic dust floating away into the sky.
Galth: Great, lets get going then.
They all began to walk along the path following the cries of the goblins...Layli walked behind Arthus as he kept looking back with a sharp look to indicate her to go on ahead and not stay behind her.
Layli: Hey Arthus.
Arthus: ...
Layli: Psst!
Arthus: What?
Layli: Thank you for uh...well, for thanking me. No one else did so, it was nice of you.
Arthus blushed as he covered his face with his cloak and scarf.
Arthus: It wasn't a big deal.
Layli: If you say so...
The five walked down the path as they seen a withering light flickering about the remains of animals. The goblins were dancing about the fire and holding bones up high as they cried out the chants of the dead.
Galth: Shh...everyone stand behind this rock.
Arthus: Whats the plan?
Galth: There is four of them so...Degor, you will hold off two of them. Layli, you will~
~
Galth: Layli, you will need to trap another with binding...Arthus~
Arthus: Of course. Leave it to me.
Layli: Understood.
Degor: I see.
Nina: What about me?
Galth: You will be fighting with Degor.
Nina: Oh hmph. Fine.
Galth: As for me, I'll be taking out the most reasonable one's first with my archery.
Degor: What a woosy style of fighting.
Nina: Ugh, not now Degor!
The goblins stopped their dancing and turned to us as they unsheathed their weaponry.
Galth: Nina, you got us caught! Everyone do as we planned!
The five jumped out from behind the rock and charged forth. Galth pulled out his sword and buckler as he ran at the two goblins.
Galth: C'mon you foul beasts!
He swung his sword wildly at the two goblins as they starting hopping around frantically swinging their weapons at him.
Arthus whispered words under his breath as he vanished into thin air. Layli pulled out her wand as she began to chant the words of a binding spell. One of the goblins screeched as he ran towards her. Layli's eyes opened wide as she fell back trying to scoot away.
The goblin jumped in the air...
Layli: Help!!
Layli wailed her staff...
Galth pulled an arrow out and struck the goblin in the leg as he fell next to Layli on the ground.
Layli tried to resurface to her feet but she was too scared.
The goblin chopped the arrow to the tip and screeched. The goblin rose his axe and...
Blood splattered on Layli's face as she shook there on the ground with a bewildered face.
Galth was standing over her...an axe to his shoulder as he coughed up blood.
A nearby goblin fell to the ground passed out...as Arthus re-appeared he threw a shuriken at the goblin whom attacked Galth.
The goblin was struck in the face and he fell to the ground...the goblin then scurried behind a rock.
Degor looked behind to see what happened and a sharp tone struck about his face.
Nina: Look out Degor!
Degor: Huh?!
Degor turned around raising his buckler deflecting the attacking on the goblin as Nina pulled out her slingshot and launched a spiked ball at the goblin striking him in the stomach as blood gushed out. The other goblin turned to Nina screeching as he charged at her.
Nina started to back up as Degor bashed the goblin in the head with his shield.
Degor: Phew...
Degor turned to Nina...
Degor: Go check up on Galth now.
Nina: Right...
Degor looked down at the goblins as he lunged his sword into both of them, removing the last of their breath.
He walked over to the passed out one aswell and finished him. Then Degor turned to Galth to find the fourth missing.
Arthus: Don't worry Galth...
Arthus vanished into the air...Degor ran over to Galth and the others.
Layli stood there holding Galth in her arms as she cried...
Nina: Layli, you have to remove the axe.
Layli: I...It...
Nina: Layli! Now!
A nearby goblin screech flew in the air as Arthus killed him...
Galth coughed up more blood and turned his head to Layli.
Galth: I'm sorry I couldn't do better...
Layli picked up her staff as she chanted words under her breath...
Circles of white appeared before her and feathers fell upon Galth enveloping him.
The axe dissapated into the air as the wound became open and blood began to flow more.
Nina reached in her pocket for a cloth and salves, she then covered the wound as she poured the liquid onto it.
Galth closed his eyes as he shook.
...Later that night, they had returned to the campsite.
Galth was sleeping in the tent, Arthus was sitting atop a cliff watching the moon and scaping the land for intruders.
Layli was sitting by the tent by herself as the other two were by the fire.
Arthus: Layli.
Layli: Huh?
Arthus walked from behind the tent and sat next to Layli.
Layli: Wh-where did you come from?
Arthus: I was up watching from the cliff.
Layli: Oh...
Arthus: Why are you crying?
Layli: ...It was my fault the Galth is in so much pain.
Arthus: Fool. It's his fault.
Layli: What?
Arthus: He protected you because he took action to go in.
Layli: If I kept on chanting...he wouldn't be hurt right now.
Arthus: I'm sure Galth doesn't see it that way.
Layli: How do you know?
Arthus: Trust me.
Layli: Thank you Arthus...again.
Arthus: It's no problem at all.
Arthus looked away...an akward silence fell between them.
Layli: You can leave now if your feeling uncomfortable.
Arthus: Right.
Arthus vanished into the air as he returned atop the cliff.
Meanwhile...Nina and Degor were chatting.
Nina: Is everything okay Degor?
Degor: Huh? ~
~
Degor: Huh? Yeah of course. Who do you think I am anyway.
Nina: A psychopath who charges into battle?
Degor: Now that is the only part you got right about me.
Nina: Umm, I never said anything else about you.
Degor: Oh yeah, ahah...
Nina: Duh.
Degor: Whatever Nina Bella-na.
Nina: Hey! Don't say my full name man! Shush your yapper Degor.
Degor: Hehe.
Nina: Your so immature...
Degor: Thats just the way I am.
Nina: Well stop it already!
Nina stood up and stormed off down the road into the moonlight covered valley.
Arthus turned to see her leave and kept a keen eye towards her to prevent any attacks from happening.
~
Degor: Shoot...what's with her. No need to get so angry over such little things. And how is she going to tell me to stop being me?
Nina began to slow down and sat down by a rock and laid back as she looked into the night sky.
Nina: God...that Degor is so annoying. How can he be fine after what happened to Galth?
Many hours passed....everyone was sleeping now except Arthus.
He sat inside the tent with Galth whom had woken up when Arthus stumbled on the sheets and fell to the floor.
Arthus: Hey, how are you doing?
Galth: Ahaha...I've never seen you trip before.
Arthus blushed under his mask with embaressment...
Arthus: Don't tell anyone, you hear me?
Galth: Of course, of course. I won't ruin your secretive dark reputation going on.
Arthus: Somehow, I doubt you telling me that.
Galth: Do you ever plan on telling them who you really are Arthil?
Arthus: No...you know I can't do that Galth.
Galth: They miss you Arthil. You cant keep going on being dead to them.
Arthus: I can, and will...if I reveal myself. It will risk me being imprisoned by the guards. The mention of that name even once will have their ears perked up faster then an arrow hitting its target.
Galth: Mhm, what a strange metaphor Arthil.
Arthus: Please stop calling me that...
Galth: You know your new name does seem quite similar to your old name. Don't you think so?
Arthus: I just don't want to forget it, that's all.
Galth: Right...or are you trying to make them think its you over some random coincidence?
Arthus: Okay, maybe so.
Galth: Anyway...thanks for coming to visit me; the real you that is.
Arthus: Anytime my friend. Well...not anytime, eh-
Galth: Haha, it's okay...my trip buddy.
Arthus: I think I'll go now.
Galth: Oh come on...just stay until I can manage to fall asleep again.
Arthus: Must I?
Galth: Please...we never get to hang out anymore Arthus.
Arthus: Fine. Only because, ah nevermind.
Galth: Thank you.
The two sat there in the tent talking for hours...and Galth began to doze off more every minute that passed by.
Galth: Mhm...you can go now.
Arthus: Okay, goodnight Galth.
Galth: Make sure you get some rest too...
Arthus: I'll try too.
Galth finally fell asleep and Arthus left the tent and returned atop the cliff.
Arthus: Galth may know who I am really...but he has no clue what happened to me after that near death experience. I-I...cant tell him what happened to me exactly. It would absolutely ruin his life, and then he would probably tell the rest of them too. I can see why they're so shook up when Galth was injured...My situation would be many times worse if they saw my face.
Also, on a side note and not that you really need to know.
Anyway, enjoy more of the story
