First off I want to apologise if (more then likely) this is in the wrong place, I had a look around but couldn't really work out where I was supposed to post this, if someone moves it to the appropriate place for me that would be appreciated and noted for future reference.
Now, I'm just looking for some feedback on some of some maps I made in VXA, some thing's I've just been playing around with at the moment, basic maps you see everywhere really.
I'll shut up now and put the maps lol
Forest path over river
Cave entrance in a forest
Also if the maps would be easier to critique from the players point of view, I can mush some images together in paint to get a full picture for you like that ^.^

This sample maps look nice already... Visual effects and other props may make it more appealing but overall it's nice. Though try to give a bit more spacing on the paths the player will traverse on.

The cave map The paths are supposed to be really narrow, this is supposed to be deep into a forest where no one travels, a hidden location sort of deal. I was considering tryin to sort out a tile to past above char showing the tops of trees spaced through the paths to give them a more secluded feel.
If you are referring to the forest path map going east to west, I don't see how that could be too narrow, but I would love if you could reason for me
Anyways... try to stick to what you think is visually good though. Normally that's how maps work. A few tweaks there and here can make it a good map. But you should also take note of the player. What do you think will the player expect from the area, what kind of atmosphere will it have, will the player consider the location a key point and something noteworthy as he progresses in the game.
